The Members Area has had its final stats update following the 90 minutes at Stamford Bridge. Those digesting the data from today’s earlier kick-offs can now drown in all the stats, including updated ICT Index scores for the Gameweek so far.

Members should click on the “Latest Gameweek” tab on the dashboard to view this week’s top 10’s and use the Gameweek filter dropdown to select “Current Gameweek” when viewing the stats tables. ICT Index scores are available via the Fantasy Index tab in the Player tables.

Just as we did for Gameweek one, Members can read on for our take of the performances of note to this point…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

So Torres only got 58 minutes. Just watched match of the day and he didn't look too good on that. How was he in actuality? Give him another game or ditch for Suarez.

1 goal in 22 games. He *has* to score at some point, I guess.

Someone else said it before me, but I agree with the idea that any team with Terry and Lamps as the spine is a Mourinho team. I don't think Torres jives with that style. Until the team actually changes style, I think Torres will fizzle.

No, no ... no probability games -- I'm just saying he's too good, even when he's sh!te, on a team that's too good, even when they're sh!te, for him not to score on an extended run out.

But do I think he'll be what he was 3-4 years ago ... not until Chels keep a manager for more than a year and that manager brings in some new players and new tactics.

              So was 'Pool 😛

I think him wanting out was part of that, too ... I'd imagine him doing well with a Cesc-Arsenal or maybe a City - teams that like to send in ground balls through the defense that he can run onto ...

Sounds like famous last words ...

Surely Drogs 'should have' started vs. Stoke, and then, after a non-scoring runout for 'Nando, he 'should have' started vs. Brom.

Torres will get an extended run - now maybe they'll try them both ... but I wouldn't wait on it for 10.5.

also, well played to all you bent owners. I was so sure that the new, defensive villa wouldn't ever play positively enough for him to be worth it.

Then again I intend to get Ageuro soon for Torres, there's no use getting Bent for one week.

From my point of view, the player that actually caught my eyes was Agbonlahor. Bent didn't play as great as what people described here. His goal was pure luck as it's a free loose ball from Nelson's mistake. If Bent is in your team, keep him then. Provided that Agbonlahor was injured now, I believe NZog will be pushed more forward on the left wing for Villa in coming games.

I wish I'd had the balls to go with Agbonlahor. He may only be an average striker, but he's one of the hardest working players on the pitch. Hopefully he'll be able to put last year's season of injuries behind him.

Have to disagree with you here Camzy - I don't think 0.1m is going to make that big a difference in the grand scheme of things, potential for big points at home to Norwich is worth holding on to for 1 more week at least. At least that's what I'll be doing....

I agree, but not at the expense of points....

If you have Torres already, swapping him when Chelsea have Norwich at home is a very bad move. GW4 -> RVP/Aguero is the right move imo. Made a bit easier for me as already have Bent and Suarez and no other striker's fixtures in GW3 really stand out, i.e. Rooney, Aguero, RVP.

              Suarez could easily outscore Torres

We'll see. He could do well, but honestly, judging from his play in relation to the Chelsea team in general, he won't be the one scoring big if it is a rout. It'll be Lampard.

If he doesn't go down in price, he stays, otherwise, he's out for Aguero or Bent.

No idea why Torres has been so popular. Average towards the end of Pool last year, crap for Chelsea last year, nothing to talk of pre-season, a slight glimmer against Stoke.

On the other hand, I'd encourage my rivals to put Torres first on their team list and give him the armband. Rather that than, Rooney, Aguero, Bent etc.

When I sought this information last year the official word was that the FPL had no intention of informing of the matrix/calulation which determined price rises/drops.

Having watched this for a few years ther price changes seem to kick in when Managers transfer in/out around 20,000 - 30,000.

The thing seems to be whether to transfer players upon how well they do straight away, notwithstanding that more games may be played that week when another player does well and you wish that you could have transferred them instead. In the meantime the initial player may increase in value especially with everyone knee jerking.

      As for min/max prices... I don't know.

Like a lot of us I have had the 'runs' all day from Torres' performance, so what are the chances of City and Norwich keeping clean sheets and Y.Toure scoring a goal, do you all think...
Need 'some' points for this week......at least

The start of this season has been an unmitigated disaster for me.

If Rooney, Kompany, Surman and Silva don't deliver come Monday night then I'm going to lose faith in my own ability to choose a decent team.

I feel like Gib in the swimming pool scene from "The Sure Thing":

"I flunk English, I'm outta here. Kiss college goodbye. I don't know what I'll do. Dad will be pissed off. Mom will be heartbroken. If I play my cards right, I get maybe a six-month grace period and then I gotta get a job, and you know what that means. That's right, they start me at the drive-up window and I gradually work my way up from shakes to burgers, and then one day my lucky break comes: the french fry guy dies and they offer me the job! But the day I'm supposed to start, some men come by in a black Lincoln Continental and tell me I can make a quick 300 just for driving a van back from Mexico! When I get out of jail I'm 36 years old. Living in a flop house. No job. No home. No upward mobility. Very few teeth. And then one day they find me, face down, talking to the gutter, clutching a bottle of paint thinner. And *why*? Because *you* wouldn't help me in English, no! You were too busy to help me! Too busy to help a drowning man! " 😀

(Kind of a parable for the way my season's going right now.)

Sounds like many people had a below average GW? (me included)

Does anyone know how Tim Cahill did not score last night? watched the game (had Baines, but not Cahill) and he missed a sitter and could have bagged another. Anyone have him in?

He was pretty unlucky not to score, but luck is a major factor in football. See Anelka's goal for proof.

If I had him then I'd keep him, but like you I had Baines, who should get some BPs if there's any justice in the EA points system.

I know, would have been lucky if I didn't jump on the Torres wagon and captain him too!

Baines was OK, not sure he will get BP though. Thought Burzkay played well for QPR, and Barkley was great for a teenager on debut.

Annoyed he did not take the free kick from 30 yards in the second half which Arteta duly smashed straight into the wall!

I think that everyone's trying to work out how the new BP system works, but if De Laet's 3 BPs last week are anything to go by then it was because of a couple of excellent blocks he made.

Baines made a couple too, and his pass completion ratio was also good, as was his delivery into the box.

I'll stop now before I disappear up my own arse. 😉

Ai, but I might put an anytime goalscorer bet on Hoolahan. Just to be safe.

I think that if N'Zogbia can start getting some points it will work out. But it's frustrating because you want to be lucky with some of the big point scorers early on to get some price rises to put you in a strong position.

I heard on the radio that Cahill was fouled for a potential penalty in the first half. No Arteta so could have been a Cahill assist and Baines penalty. Would have been nice 🙂

Fine lines I suppose. But very frustrating. Baines and Cahill will come good over the next 3 weeks though I think. And hopefully the Spurs game won't be too far away either.

Depends if you prioritise Mini-League success over total points scored over the season.

I have him (not as captain) and hope he scores a bundle since I'd quite like to score more than 30 points this week.

        For an effing change. 🙂

Don't worry, Rooney won't score any hattricks any time soon.

He had exactly 1 shot on goal against WBA, but yeah it was a goal due to Foster's below average goalkeeping.

    What's the tale here?

The gut wanted Baines to begin coupled with Torres.

Then the gut changed course and insisted on Bent, B'swinger and Malouda with Aguero.

Then, it changed course again and ended up with Baines, Bent and Torres.

An interesting exercise in psychology of the mind during the typical week of a fantasy football manager. 😕

Nope , winners favoured too much in this system , and even shots that hit the bar are actually negative points as they count as off target

stats are dumb. baines looked most likely to create a goal (barring cahills woeful finishing...)
