      he's just done a gruelling south american tournament! which he won!

      i don't think he'll rotate any more than any other striker once he's settled in to the season

    Bad for my short-term game this Suarez business, but he's just as capable off the bench to score/assist.

    I don't think he's a 'bandwagon' buy at all. He did well last season and the only concern was whether he'd start, he did last week so it was reasonable to expect the same this week.

    Why does Bent never play for England. I seem to remember people like Crouch getting runs over Bent, Bent is quality, in the top 3 strikers in EPL over the last few years for sure and he scores millions goals playing for a mediocre team. Fabio Capello is bent :/

    For Suarez I think it's simple. With 3 away games in the next 4, and some tough games, he wasn't a good pick IMO anyway. Come GW6 and he'll be a starter for them and hopefully nearer 9.0 and will come in.

    I guess a lot brought him in as they don't look at the fixtures they just see the player.

      Rubbish.

      Same would then apply to any Liverpool player then and any City player (Aguero, Silva, Kompany, Toure, Dzeko).

      Quality players score against all comers.

        I don't have Aguero either, due to obvious reasons.

        Quality players don't always score in 'all corners', as FPL managers know.

              I just know Spurs and Stoke are tight defensively and obv today's game has a history of low scoring games.

    Will people relax? Saurez is a great striker...he will not be dropped for 99% of the rest of the games its just the Copa America. He may not play next weekend but then he should be fit enough.
