Alex Ferguson faces selection headache up front. Wenger welcomes back Laurent Koscielny but is losing sleep over Thomas Vermaelen’s ankle knock. Roberto Mancini and Andre Villas-Boas contemplate throwing their new signings into the mix. Kenny Dalglish set to rekindle the Suarez/Carroll partnership against Bolton. Harry Redknapp adamant that Luka Modric will line up against City as the Croatian sorts his hamstring and his future at Spurs.

A reminder that these nuggets from around the Premier League grounds – all the team news leading into the weekend – is being collated and compiled for you via our team news section. Noteworthy additions are being flagged via our Twitter feed as usual.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Vorm
    Simpson Bosingwa Kompany
    Silva N'Zogbia Jarvis Sinclair
    Torres(v) Suarez(c) Rooney

    Bench: Given Moses Brown Senderos

Looks about right to me? Still can't decide on Given or Vorm though?

Alright guys im new to this this looks good my team is :

    Hart
    Agger
    Bosingwa
    Terry
    Kompany
    Sinclair
    Silva
    Adam
    Ramires
    Bent
    Fletcher

    Bench

    Vorm
    Holt
    Larsson
    Simpson

who would you keep and who would you change guys?

I was thinking of 2 changes not sure?

I'm thinking of putting Kompany on the Bench (as first sub) and pulling Simpson on as Fulham are struggling to score at the moment and Newcastle seem quite solid at the back.

Make sure you set your team out like this:

      Hart
      Agger Bosingwa Terry Kompany
      Sinclair Silva Adam Ramires
      Bent Fletcher

      Vorm Holt Larsson Simpson

People will be more likely to respond that way. I think 2 Chelsea defenders could do very well this weekend, really can't see Norwich scoring. I would get rid of Ramiers personally, he doesn't seem to be offering as much under Villas-Boas. I would:

Ramires>Brunt and slot him in, no need to make a 4 point hit imo!

      Hope this helps.

Yes, teams should be made up of only polite young gentlemen, holding up their pinkies whilst they enjoy a spot of tea.

Barton nearly single-handedly earned 2 points from Arse in the last two games vs. them. And: Joey B has been pretty well-behaved in his time there. I can't imagine Toon fans are super-duper excited about his leaving.

But eventually, according to pulsation theory or summat, won't the universe collapse back into a singularity?

I believe that theory is not a leading one now. That is they believe the dark energy is too strung to allow gravity to pull everything back together. With the Universe expanding indefinitely into future eventually become cold, dark and dead which will take such a long time now it makes past 13 billion years seem quick*

*thats latest i read on matter anyway.

Just wondering if De Gea could be a good choice in goal?

6.5m, looking more confident and nailed on to start for Utd week in week out. Easy CS points every week if you ask me.

Smalling @ 5.5m would be better value!

Do Man Utd keep a cleansheet every week?

No we do not, Smalling is a nailed on starter at the moment and has scored in pre-season when we use this formation!

That said I have no idea how we're going to slot Chico into it this weekend...

I wouldn't be against them doing so.

Smalling might just not be a good longterm option due to rotation whilst De Gea is long term.
