      I've put him in in place of Aguero, I'm sure Aguero will do well but rotate with Tevez. Dzeko less competition and involved in every City attack so far, finally living up to the hype. Left me with 2.5k to spend next gameweek too! 🙂

    De Laet? R.Taylor? Briggs?

    Is De Laet likely to score/assist much? Have never seen him play…
    Is Briggs a shoe-in for left back with Riise out or what are his chances?
    Reluctant to get R.Taylor because already have Simpson, he might eventually lose his place and I might need the extra 0.1m in a few weeks…

      The fact that you have that team means you keep that team in my opinion. I'd sit tight another week ... you made those choices for a reason and they don't become bad players overnight.

        It does look a decent team I think and i'd have no qualms sticking with it if I wasn't already miles behind in my mini league and a bit scared of Rooney (who all my rivals will captain) going mental against the Arsenal.

          In my experiences, the worst thing you can do is panic buy players and make too many transfers in doing so. If you made 2 transfers, Rooney has to score 1 more goal than Torres this weekend to justify the decision ... bare minimum. Sit tight, make 2 next week if you want .... marathon, not a sprint.

      Hey Shady10111,
      decent team. good attackers - long will be a suprise hit I think. He is a Woy signing, so woy will start him every week.

      1. Defense is cheap, but decent. You could play them nearly every week, just depends on will Bosingwa hold his place - but i think he will, as AVB seems to be going towards the iberian plays (spain/portugal). You have newcastle/chelsea/liverpool and i think they have good defenses at present.
      2. Mata may not start, but I would expect him to be involved. Malouda didn't start last week, so he's just as much as a gamble, but he's not spanish or an AVB signing, so i'd favour mata there.
      3. I'd take a gamble on Suarez for capt, though he did play midweek. (i sold Torres for Suarez on tuesday). Rooney may not run riot against arsenal tomorrow. those matches usually decided by a fletcher/park goal for united. Silva done well last two weeks, but spurs will be looking to bounch back from a 3-0 lost last wk to united!

    Still no sign of a winner in my changing room battle for captaincy.

    Bent has stepped aside but Rooney and Suarez still going at it, Rooney got a hold of it but it could go back and forward a few times between now and tomorrow!!!!

        Malouda to a cheaper mid and Holt to an expensive striker would make the forwards beter. Just for that I feel WC would be a bit much

      Hey paganwinter- Fantasy Cup 4th round,
      I'd bring in Long, (and if looking for a cheap midfielder, what about barkley for everton. could be a gamble with arteta coming back, but think he may do well tomorrow against blackburn).
      Malouda is a rotation doubt me thinks, esp with mata now there, but reckon malouda will start tomorrow with torres and mata/kalou. Brown is a decent defender, i have him myself. they away to swansea tomorrow, so maybe start Brown. Norwich chelsea could be tricky. I wouldn't wildcard, but I'd maybe consider a double transfer, if you have the cash to also alter Sessegnon/Moses, after zamora>LONG

        Thanks. I have been burnt far too many times neglecting Everton's bad form start of season. Even having Baines is giving me a little worry. So will stay away from any other Everton player.
        So if Malouda is sure to start, I rather get rid of Zamora now.

        About taking a point hit, last season I took far too many point hits and didn't do that well. So decided I would take a point hit only if I have trouble finding 11 starting players in my team.

        Thinking about it more, better not do any transfer than take Brown out now.
