Half an hour later Spurs are left to pick themselves up from their defeat to Man United to welcome Man City for their first home game of the season.

Despite talk of an impending departure for Peter Crouch he lines up for ‘Arry with Luka Modric also in the mixer. Roberto Mancini rewards Micah Richards with a new contract and a place on the bench as he, Aleksander Kolarov and James Milner drop out for Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy and new signing Samir Nasri…

            When is a better time to use WC other than during an international break? Unlimited changes to catch price rises and avoid losses. Very important in early season. Last minute injuries can be put right at no points cost.
