The transfer of Mikel Arteta to Arsenal this week has many a Fantasy manager eyeing up the new Gunners midfielder.       Dzeko, Adebayor & Suarez?

      I'm very tempted by those three as you can have a massive midfield as well, but I really really want RVP & Rooney. This WC is doing my head in.

        Correct. Gives me 3 big midfielders and 3 big defenders. Massively risky but they are all goalscorers and Adebayors fixtures aren't nearly as bad as people are making out.

          This is true re: Ade's fixtures. Sometime's think that people don't realise that the evaluation of a certain player's fixtures changes, almost by definition, from week to week.

    Have had a terrible start to FPL, have been thinking&thinking what to do... Maybe WC,... maybe do this, ...maybe that...

      I think I'd be more tempted to keep hold of Bent and maybe ship Toure to Arteta. Toure ain't getting many more points per game than a lot of players in the 6m price range, least he didn't last year and I can't see that changing this year. And to be honest I'm not really a fan of N'Zog and Sess but each to their own.

      dzeko is subject to rotation now that tevez is staying on. Dzeko, Auguero, Tevez, AND Balotelli. Seems like overkill and pitch time will be scarce perhaps. Tores is deffinately gone from my team permanently, but that may just be personal prejudice.

      Vorm, (Al-Habsi)
      Baines,Ward,Bosingwa(Simpson Collins)
      Hoolahan,Silva,Moses,Sessegnon, (dyer)
      Bent, Suarez, Rooney

      probably upgrade to lampard some how and have to re evaluate silva in light of nasri. Also could downgrade collins.

        Very foolish to say that his pitch time will be scarce. That makes it sound like, for example, he might be on the pitch half the time, which is ludicrous.

        It will be a decent amount of pitch time with the odd chunk taken out.

      Couldn't decide between cole and baines myself so i got both to start with. And with the emergence of the bos, i'm regretting that!

      I was a bit confused by that transfer when they didn't sell Samba.

      Centre back is probably the place where Blackburn were strongest.

        They had loads of injuries on the last couple of games and had to put defensive mids in at center back, and apparently they were terrible (like N'Zonzi). That came from my friend who supports Blackburn. Apparently Samba and Danna compliment each other.

      I would say RVP as he's guaranteed to start. But I'm not sure how much Silva has played internationally so he may be too.
