In this latest article for Members we combine the current ownership data in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game and our very own ICT Index* data, to find a collection of ten players who could provide handy differentials over the weeks to come.

With the emphasis on value in the current Fantasy landscape – we particularly targeted budget players who could plug the gaps in your squad – with just one notable exception from Villas-Boas’ Kings Road fraternity.

*For those of you unfamiliar with the ICT Index, click this link for more info…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      I'd go for A. Persie is all the Arsenal you need, plus Cabaye is a good pick. Takes lots of set pieces. Also, you don't wanna be losing Young!

        I know Villas goal scoring ratio for Barca isn't quite as good as Ibras but he just has to be in there anyway imo.

                Comparing defenders to attackers is a bit ridiculous. Needs to be 10 best attackers, and midfielders and defenders.

                  Indeed. Still, Vidic's inclusion as the only defender in Faulk's list implies that he think Vidic is the best defender in the world, something I don't agree with.

                    he suits the premier legaue as 90% of it plays to his strengths. as soon as the other 10% come along he racks up as many reds as MOTM awards. also he suits man utd as they're usually going to dominate games so when an opposition player has the ball it's seen as precious so the player usually plays a more 'percentage play' and doesn't run at vidic instead choosing to cross or look for a pass in which case he'll head, clear and block those all day long.

                    Fabregas definitely, not sure about the others though. I'd wish to see RVP remain injury free for a year before he got on the list. Aguero or Neymar in there otherwise.

                    Neymar???!!!!!! WTF???

                    Not sold on Aguero either. I think he's good, but I'm yet to be convinced that he's the best striker at Man City, let alone top 5 in the world.

                    I'd happily take Cashley out, but again, I got stuck and ended up throwing him in, rather reluctantly.

                    Didn't look much better against Bulgaria either. His attacking qualities are also fairly overrated, for someone who gets forward as much as him, his assist/goal record is pretty average, and doesn't compare well to other attacking full backs.

    Any advice on my team? WC played so can ship and change anything so let rip!

    Krul (Vorm)
    Hutton Mertesacker Kompany (De Laet Berra)
    Nasri Anderson Taarbat Brunt (Dyer)
    RVP (C) Hernandez Aguero

    worries for me are Anderson and possible rotation risk of Aguero? Hernandez should be a nailed on starter now with Welbeck gone?

    Hi. Can people offer criticism/suggestions to my team please.

    Given Vorm
    STaylor Enrique Bosingwa Baines RTaylor
    Larsson Taarabt Young Moses Nzogbia
    Zamora Aguero Suarez

    I really want to make 5 transfers, is it worth even using my wildcard? The changes i propose are:

    Baines -> Mertersacker
    Nzogbia -> Arteta
    Larsson ->MPetrov
    Zamora -> Dzeko
    Aguero ->Persie

    What to you reckon, worth wildcarding for? Or maybe do 2 transfer at a time? Or any other better player picks? I wasn't really planning on using my wildcard this week, but if i was to use it then players like MTaylor and Moses would need further inspection...

          Baines -> Mertersacker

          8 point hit.

    Here's my current team. I have two free transfers this week:

    Given (Vorm)
    Hughes, Kompany, Enrique (Simpson, Brown).
    Sinclair, Taraabt, Lampard, Brunt, Sessegnon.
    Bent, RVP (Graham).

    My initial plan was do:

    Lampard and Graham out, A budget and Rooney in.

    But now I'm thinking I should get Rooney in for bent before Rooney's price rise, because I think the chance of getting news one way or the other on bent before Saturday is quite slim.

    Any problems with that?

    Seconds away from doing Bent out for Rooney.

    To continue the overrated/underrated debate from the previous page I think that it's hard to say, because as soon as a player is overrated plenty of people will decide that he's the worst player to ever play the game, therefore underrating him.

    And when somebody is a bit underrated others will make sure they bang on how he's the best thing ever, and by that overrating him.

    A player that most people seem to rate that I think is overrated is Van Der Vaart.

      +1

      Watched him ponce about at Old Trafford 2 weeks ago putting in another 'stats shift' with 8 shots from outside the area all handled fairly comfortably by De Gea.

    Baines -> Mertersacker
    Nzogbia -> Arteta
    Zamora ->Dzeko

    Worth an 8 point hit? They're all transfers i want to make long term anyway...

      Not really. Got some cash in reserve? Maybe just do Nzog to Arteta or Baines to Mert for now I think just Zamora to Dzeko is a real change, and maybe you can´t wait a week to see if Arteta will play well in Fabregas spot
