Having been stalled by the international break and a glamorous trip back to Manchester, I take my seat alongside Mark in the studio once again, desperately wrestling for air time against the prolific gabber spewed from the ScoutCast host. Mark tries to be on his best behaviour in this episode, knuckles wrapped by a frustrated listener deprived of my pearls of wisdom by his constant interruptions, you can sense the intense effort as Mark holds his silence.

It’s not easy; once again we’ve a contentious issue to discuss – Rooney’s dubious assist back in Gameweek three still nags away at those without the folically challenged hot-shot. The new assist ruling gets the ScoutCast treatment then, accompanied by the usual half-arsed analysis of the Gameweek fixture list and the likely protagonists involved.

        Sometimes I find myself putting 15 'players' on the team, only to bench 4 of them. I figured he might start Dyer and his front three, thus making the Obertan/Brunt a non-issue for this week.
        
        I agree that Brom have good fixtures - and that he's a better choice than Obertan.

Evening all,

So, this week's impossible conundrum is:

- Arsenal attacking cover without RVP (can't afford him). Got to be Arteta as can't afford Walcott - guess that decides itself!
- Micah Richards - definitely out?
- Bent - seems to have decent fixtures but somehow I'm losing faith already.
- Given and Warnock - why, oh why did I think doubling up Villa defence was a good idea!? Now I want one out but running out of transfers.
- Tom Cleverley - was a good cheap way into Man Utd midfield but surely going to be rotated this week - do you agree?

        Seems to me Richards has been playing pretty well for City - 2 assists in the first two games. I haven't seen news on his injury - bet that'll come in tomorrow - but if he's 75% likely to play, that's no tear - just a 'slight pull'.
        
        I'd stick, assuming you have other trade priorities and want a City defender + have a decent sub.

Hello all,
Had a question about UCL--having never done it before--and was wondering about my team structure. I know you can do a 2-5-3, which I like, but I was wondering about the how good of a defense people go for. How does a 6.0, 5.0, 5.0, 4.0, 4.0 stack up to most teams?

My current team seems to be:

Pyatov/Eduardo (not sure if he will start so may need another 4.0 keeper)
Thiago Silva (Mil) / Santos (Ars) / Park (Bas)/ R Costa (Val)/ Jorge (APOEL)
Goetze (DVB)/ Oezil (RM) / Sneijder (Int) / Ramsey (Ars) / Shaqiri (Bas)
Mueller (Bay) / Messi (Bar) / Berbatov (MU)

I've seen a lot of people say Berbatov is set to play Champions league, and if he did, I would be pleased, but I have also thought about Frei (Bas) and Schuerrle (Lev). If I did either, I would probably change Shaqiri to a 5.5 mid as I can only do two Basal players. I could upgrade Park as well. I really like Schuerrle, but Leverkuesen has a tricky group and I am mildly skeptical of his production, especially considering his propensity to be played as a mid.

Any thoughts? Sorry for the RMT, I don't do them for FPL, but for UCL, I am very clueless.

  Will probably fail due to having a weak bench, but hey, first year playing the game, may as well go the big 2 up front!

    You may want to consider buffing your defence as you can change you bad performers on the Wednesday with subs that haven't played yet.
    
    Example: Puyol plays on Tuesday and Barca concede you can substitute him for a plyer on the bench who is playing on Wednesday so you have a better chance of getting points.

  The 1st one as Ronaldo is guaranteed points if fit. Iniesta is in the best attacking side in the world so is prone to getting loads of assists and goals at a better price than Ozil. Smalling is in a very easy group where he will probably get 3-4 clean sheets min.

Already have RVP. I want to keep Aguero, but I think A Young is hard to ignore right now...but also think Arteta will do well in the next several weeks...

  My other option is tp downgrade Kompany to a 4.5, sell both Tchyoi and SWP and keep Silva and a budget midfielder?
  
  Think the Nasri or silva and 3 from RVP/saurez/rooney/dzeko are the big questions for next few weeks!!
