Having been stalled by the international break and a glamorous trip back to Manchester, I take my seat alongside Mark in the studio once again, desperately wrestling for air time against the prolific gabber spewed from the ScoutCast host. Mark tries to be on his best behaviour in this episode, knuckles wrapped by a frustrated listener deprived of my pearls of wisdom by his constant interruptions, you can sense the intense effort as Mark holds his silence.

It’s not easy; once again we’ve a contentious issue to discuss – Rooney’s dubious assist back in Gameweek three still nags away at those without the folically challenged hot-shot. The new assist ruling gets the ScoutCast treatment then, accompanied by the usual half-arsed analysis of the Gameweek fixture list and the likely protagonists involved.

                CTC was in fact doing better until 1 Sep when they reset the percentages, Arteta being the victim (fell from 50%, or even more, don't remember) to 0%, others(Nasri, Dzeko, Adam, Ward) rose that morning so it didn't mean anything for their percentages.

                Total FPL hasn't reset it and that's why they were right about this one.

            It says the SELLING fee is rounded up. You would make £0.3m from the sale x 50% = £0.15m rounded up is £0.2m therefore you get £8.8m minus £0.2m - £8.6m

            I think this is right?

            It's not rounded up, and that would be silly, really.

            You could buy a player, let him go up £0.1M then sell for the £0.1M profit. This week you could've got an extra £2M (or a lot more probably) in net value when playing the WC. The team values would be massive.

            Lately it's all about Walcott and RVP. Probably due to people being desperate to catch up to the Rooney/Young drubbery and Arsenal's "easy" fixtures. The problem being fixtures haven't meant a lot, many teams will be going for the kill while Arsenal are wounded and who's to say Rooney/Young won't carry on scoring hugely.

            According to totalfpl RVP is on 3.2% min and max. Not sure what that means.

            I don't worry about it too much, sometimes I make a trade one day earlier then the deadline if I know he a player is gonna rise/fall.

            This week was the first time I made a trade on the very first day of the gameweek Torres ---> Dzeko

            and it looks like I'm gonna be about .6 better off <_<

          I am playing the 'Who has the most doubtful team.' game. Here is my entry:

          Given (Doubtful)
          Baines (Doubtful)
          Bent (Doubtful)
          Long (Doubtful)
          Orr (Doubtful)

          I have already made my transfer (Torres-->Dzecko) but i am willing to take a 4pt hit, and I am thinking, given their doubtful flags, of the following:

          Bent-->RVP (for fixtures)
          Bent-->Rooney (for form)
          Baines-->Mertsacker (for fixtures)
          Baines-->Bosingwa (for form)

          I'm sure that most of those marked as doubtful will actually play but I feel a 4pt hit is needed. Anyone like the above? Have an alternative? Comments much appreciated.

            dont get rid of baines or bent

            baines is pretty likely to play

            bent has nice fixtures after tomorrow up until gwk11

            i have both and am keeping them

            Go for Bent->RVP for sure mate.
            Worth the 4 point hit and a great captain choice.
            Plus it'll be a good long-term tansfer.
            I really want RVP in this week, i have Rooney, Dzeko, Suarez but given their price rises, i'm reluctant to sell them.

            Yeah the problem is that i'd like RVP too, Bent is the only one i can shift for that. Unless i just cash in the money made from Dzecko...which would be a bit strange.

          Morning all, interesting to see Arteta rising and not Dzeko. I've played my wildcard at the mo and this is what i'm thinking. Can you let me know what you think.

          Shame Dzeko didn't rise this morning. He's on the brink so most of his transfers in today will go to waste.
