Neil Warnock leads a host of Premier League managers set to deliver debuts this weekend, with new signings Shaun Wright-Phillips and Joey Barton likely starters for QPR in Monday’s clash with Newcastle.

Arsene Wenger will surely draft in new boys Per Mertesacker and Mikel Arteta and neighbours Spurs will give debuts to Scott Parker and Emmanuel Adebayor as they visit a Wolves side that looks set to be unchanged once more. Peter Crouch should lead the Stoke attack against visiting Liverpool, while Alex Ferguson continues to trust his young guns at the back and will re-unite Wayne Rooney with Javier Hernandez up front, as Danny Welbeck misses out with a hamstring problem.

Asamoah Gyan looks set to be ruled out for Sunderland, paving the way for Nicklas Bendtner to make his Black Cats debut against Andre Villas-Boas’ Chelsea, as the Blues head to the Stadium of Light without Didier Drogba, with the Ivorian continuing his recovery from concussion.

Hasn't he been injured? Plus not certain where he's going to line up yet. All of them are doubts really, I'm leaning to Barkley for a couple of games as it could go brilliantly then maybe look to a more solid cheap option.

Palacios (and Mikel) are like fantasy concrete.

The only thing they will do in your team is drag you to the bottom of the river and watch you drown alive.

Nah, you'll live. Not a bad team if you've not hit the ol' WC yet. Jarvis not playing and N'Zog giving another 2 point masterclass are your only real worries. Have you any cash to maybe squeeeeze some Arsenal coverage in for a hit? Arteta maybe? If not, don't worry, just pray they don't go ballistic. 🙂

Curse you new post. Always springing on me when I least expect it, having just commented in the last one. Once again, from the top:

Ignoring my defenders and GKs who are absolutely pump, and liable to be changed to other absolutely pump defenders before the deadline. Would anyone change anything about this front 8? I think this is where the points are to be made for the next few GWs, so am going very cheap and rotatable at the back.

    Silva – Taraabt – Young – Walcott – Dyer

    RVP – Dzeko – Adebayor

Main concerns are obviously a lack of Rooney/Suarez, Dzekos rotation, and Adebayors fixtures/first few games back in the EPL. What would the experts do? Worth switching Dzeko/Ade to Suarez/Rooney and a cheaper striker?

        It's true. *slashes wrists*

The idea that Tevez/Aguero rotate and that Balotelli is currently being a nob so doesn't threaten Dzeko i thought made sense. More so, all my rivals have transferred him in, so if he scored big i'd be up poo creak sans paddle. Damage limitation basically.

        Still got Baines though, Whooop.

I haven't posted for a while so after reading all your comments and listening to the podcast I came up with the following team and thought would share. I played my wildcard early last week so have benefited a bit from value increases.

    Krul, (Vorm)
Kompany, DeLeat, Bosingwa (S Taylor, Taylor)
    Silva, Mata, Young, Taarbaht, (Dyer)
    RVP, Dzeko, Ruiz

    Reasoning is
    1) 2 x 6m defenders
    2) At least One main nailed on starter for Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal and Man U.
    3) Bring in Rooney when fixtures favour.

Its a compromise without Rooney but there is quite a bit of differential in there i think (Mata, Ruiz especially) and also some key players are underpriced (Bosingwa, Krul, Vorm, DeLaet, Mata Dzeko and Ruiz) so should hopefully see price rises.

Comments appreciated particularly on leaving out Rooney and choosing Silva ahead of Nasri and Mata ahead of Walcot.

    thanks all

Pretty good though i'd sooner have Hennessey than doubling on Newcastle defenders.
Personally wouldn't go for Taarabt just yet.
Ruiz is unknown, i'd rather squeeze Adebayor in or even Bendtner.

Thanks sorry should have said, Taylor is that famous Swansea defender. Got a hunch on Taarabt and am trying to play catch up after missing out on the spoils in GW3 hence the risk with Ruiz and Mata. Good point though on Adebayor in particular. Cheers.
