The visiting side are able to partner up Shane Long and Peter Odemwingie for the first time while captain Chris Brunt and James Morrison drop to the bench with Graham Dorrans and Jerome Thomas coming in. The home side meanwhile continue with the regular bouts of rotation as the likes of Andrew Surman and Elliott Bennett return and Wes Hoolahan has to make do with a place on the bench. Sunday Premier League football will then close out with Fulham playing host to Blackburn as both sides look to fight their way out of the early relegation spots.

    I was set on captaining rooney this weekend but every naive player (who seem to score high) will do the same. He will score, but what about dzeko? No one will be captaining him, great differential. How many will he score against Fulham though?

      Nothing naive about captaining Rooney at home when he is on fire. Probably won't be doing it myself but I could understand why people would want to.

        I know he will get a lot of points, he's a good shout, that's why i was captaining. I just mean the 'others' are bound to captain him. I'll check out fulhams defense today, if they concede, i'm choosing dzeko.

      My theory is that differentials are for late-season. The name of the game now is staying with the pack and using the other elements of the team to inch forward.

    Thought I had an absolute gem with Smalling, 5.5 for a starting utd defender (for the next few weeks anyway). But with Ferdinand back would Jones be more likely to start?

        He's only played over 60 minutes once, Lambert mustn't think they can afford to play a player like Hoolahan ahead of someone less industrious and more workmanlike. He might get the easier home games, although I would've classed this as one of them

        The only game I can remember him playing was as part of a back 3 in the 2-0 loss to Fulham a few years ago. Rooney got sent off and I think Scholes might've too
