The Fantasy Games have updated and another weekend of disappointment begins now.

Missed penalties, red cards, disallowed goals and all sorts of contentious decisions – they’re all coming the way of the intrepid misbegotten Fantasy Manager. To help everyone through this hardship we’ve opened up our Saturday edition of the Dugout Discussion so like minded souls can wallow together. At least until someone turns up at five o’clock and casually mentions how they’ve got a “measly” 100 point haul.

We begin with Arsenal at Blackburn. Most notably Yakubu starts for Rovers while Theo Walcott sits out for the Gunners. Line-ups in full are…

Blackburn XI: Robinson;, Salgado, Dann, Samba, Givet; Hoilett, Nzonzi, Lowe, Rochina, Formica; Yakubu

After the dust has settled on that tie we’ll have five more match-ups at three o’clock including Leighton Baines at home against Wigan, Swansea still awaiting their first ever Premier League goal and Kevin Davies and Grant Holt duking out a battle of the gargantuan strikers.

Was praying for electricity for wolves today, but would have been better off if it had stayed off. The 3 points of Jarvis and Ward would have been replaced by Barton and Bosingwa.

  Anyone else as incapable as I am in picking the right starting XI? Simpson keeps a clean sheet every time that I don't pick him, but never when I do (i.e. today). And guess which idiot put Vorm and Dyer on the bench this week for Given and Jarvis, only for the Swansea pair to comfortably outscore my 5 starting players.
  
  Pleased for Swansea though - well-run club, good manager and the region's been through a terrible week.

Anyone spurs fans or anyone else tell me how far forward Parker plays for spurs? Reason I am asking because he rarely gets injured has good fixture gw6 to gw 13. Yes I am including aresnal as a good fixture. Also parker is far better value then VDV.

  Last week Robbie Savage assessed the Yakubu transfer as (paraphrasing) "a few goals over the next few weeks then nothing". I concur with his perspective.
