    We are going to see some monster scores next week with 4 of the top 6 against easy opponents and Spurs away at wigan. Only problem is united away at stoke but hopefully that will help the dedicated player.

    Roll on GW6!!!!!!

            Hey,, I'll tell ya', I picked up RVP and Walcott two weeks ago because of their 'easy fixtures'

            Wish I would have gone Torres, crazy as that sounds, now.

            Ade might be a touch safer, but Torres will have good service, in a good team, with good fixtures. How crazy can it be?

            And a great differential, too. I'm almost talking myself into him ...

    Is having a decent squad important this year or are we seeing a buck in the trend with big hitters and cheap low hitting subs reaping the rewards? I seem to be getting burned by mini league rivals who rely on having a first team including Ashley Cole, 1 City defender, Young, Silva, Aguero, Rooney, and Dzeko week in week out irrespective of opposition. Their subs/fringe players are awful but does this even matter if the big hitters are there to pull all the weight?

        Im disillusioned by the fact that my main mini league rival is storming ahead solely because he's a City fan. Hes clueless to FFS or even the fixture list but captains Aguero every week and has Clichy, Silva, Nasri (from before he switched from Arsenal) and Rooney. No amount of tinkering seems to be able to peg him back.

      ist is neither here or there - both have a tough fixture.

      2nd - good choice.

      3rd - bad considering fixtures, you need to be brave to go with it.

    For 2 free changes what would one prefer, team linked?

    RVP and Brunt--->Adebayor and Mata

    or

    RVP and Dzeko--->Adebayor and Aguero

      Forwards ok, give RVP one more week as nice fixture. consider improving your midfield

        Seems sensible regarding RVP but i only have 1.3 in bank if he stays and I can hardly improve midfield much with that. So RVP would need to go to generate cash..

      Prefer the second option... I have RVP and Dzeko too and wondering if I should sell for Aguero and Adebayor or Suarez. BUT RVP has an easy fixture, might be crazy to sell him now??

      You think Ade better pick than Suarez? He has more difficult fixtures and Suarez could score big agst Wolves.

        Who will provide RVP with the service, he wasnt getting any in last 2 games. If blackburn and swansea were poor return, why would bolton be any better?

        Ade=Suarez IMO. Tough to separate them for me. After GW7 spurs have a nice run of games until GW17. Suarez i would want for GW9 onwards but they got City and Chelsea GW12 and 13 so leaning to Adebayor. Also Ade has form on his side.

          RVP could have scored many last game I think, but you're right much more difficult for him to have good service. Don't know, might make sense to sell him now.

          Ade vs. Suarez I really don't know, but if I want Ade need to buy him tonight as he's rising.

      Sorry, missed your reply.

      Did you see the Utd game today? He looked sharpish, ignoring his open-goal nightmare that everyone will focus on. He nails that - he scores a brace and he's *hot* again.

      Also, he's owned by 3.2% only - so it's unlikely his price will drop much more.

      I think it's a good punt - I really hope it works out for you. Just remember: I never promised anything πŸ˜‰

        Yeah mate i was at the game today, right behind de gea in stretford end in first half, even spotted myself for a sec on motd tonight lol!

        Anyway, yeah he did look very sharp, apart from his miss as you say, but still very sharp and is definately picking up form again.
        Very true, i can't see his price dropping, but yeah i think he's a good punt too, got meireles and mata in my team too so all looks good for the swansea game i reckon.
        Cheers though man, i hope it works out too, haha dont worry, if anyone is to blame if it flops it's me and me alone lol, but i have great faith that it will work πŸ™‚

          Cool, cool.

          By 'Team Name' - "When you’ve decided upon your three forwards email them with your team name to ..." - do you mean my FPL team name?

          Or just some ultra-cool nom de guerre that strikes fear in the hearts of men and passion in the loins of lasses?

              So there's Lasses? Ehhhhxcellent, Smithers.

              I'll be in - propping up the rest of the league, I'm sure.

        3 shots, all on target, an assist and zamora and murphy's goals were seemingly all they did EA wise (based on the little i've learnt from opening weeks)
