jones had a shot off target and surprisingly only won 4 of 9 duels. larsson's shot off target may cost him, although he may be due a second assist which would bump him up

Came home today and that Wildcard looks incredibly tempting. My team just lacks too many big hitters like Aguero and Young. I don't know where all the money is in my team, but Baines is certainly getting the chop since I just personally don't enjoy having so much invested in a Defender.

Couple value defenders did amazing so far like Simpson, Gabbidon, R. Taylor, S. Taylor, etc.

I would go for Nani instead of Young and for forwards, Aguero + Adebayor + Torres look solid. Rooney is too expensive now and I don't think his form is on the way up.

I was having trouble deciding between Nani and Young, but I've gone with Nani. with Aguero Manu and Rooney as my forwards.

I was tempted for Torres, but I still wanna stick with roonpig cause I think he has a better chance at scoring when there is an open net lol

that and suarez > adebayor seem to be 2 of the biggest transfer dilemmas this week.
good assist on tuesday, 2 near assists in 30 mins yesterday. a goal and an almost assist (rvp's missed pen) v man utd. goalbound shot cleared off the line v swansea. nearly isn't good enough for 9mil but he's getting another chance from me

He gives the longest interview answers in the history of the world. The interviewer asks the initial question and he usually speaks for about ten minutes and then the interview is over! I guess it's the best way to prevent all the tedious Torres questions.

Nobody really knows, we all thought he'd start after scoring for fun against spurs, he's just becoming a fantasy player that isn't going to play every week and if you have in your team just expect the worse and if he starts it's a bonus. Pretty rubbish way of seeing it to be honest.

Maybe so, but he was still not in the side that won their first game of the season. Can't imagine that Lambert will put him straight back in the side, after all the goals he's been directly at fault for. Although judging by his treatment of #superWes, who knows what sort of stunt Lambert will pull.

I know very little about Norwich, was the guy who came into the side a big unit, brought in specifically to negate the formidable player that is Kevin Davies?

Anyway, I'm probably getting rid of Ritchie this week.

Possibly, tbh Lambert shouldn't be playing him as a CB anyway he's a wingback. He'll be 3rd sub, and i can't see any better defender for 4m who isn't simpson.

Get Shane Long instead of Odemwingie, seriously. He'll score more goals because he'll always be the focal point of the team, whereas Odim will drift out to the wings and occasionally help out in midfield. Then you can upgrade De Laet and Dyer.

    Brunt Young Jarvis Silva (Tiote)
    Suarez Dzeko Rooney

    'Morning' all.
Main question: Not getting nearly enough assists/goals from my midfield (Silva excepted) despite making an effort to pick players known for being hubs (Tiote excepted). This week's points lay with many less-known mids for small teams, can you recommend ones I missed that really be among the chances?

Bonus question: After sticking with Dzeko but seeing Aguero start/score in basically every match, I'm tempted to give up and join the bandwagon?

Yeah lol. I'm torn. I watched SWP against Newcastle and there's definitely points potential with his crossing and cutting inside. Sinclair seems like a hub for Swansea too. The only reason I usually don't go for small-team players is they depend on how the team does - i.e. normally not very well.

yea i finally got repaid for faith in sinclair this weekend but how many times are swansea gonna win a penalty and dismantle a team?

i'm probably downgrading him to dyer in my WC who's looking closer to scoring each week (he'll be on the bench obv anyway against chelsea)

Ah... that reminds me to make sure I put Vorm on the bench.

I definitely should swap Tiote for a cheap attacking mid, and that could well be Dyer.

The other mids I'm watching are Seb Larsson, who's already pretty popular, and Roysten Drenthe who might be a super signing.

Whereas Swansea have 5 good ones after Chelsea (I'm not convinced by Liverpool).

Yup. I'd definitely transfer Adebayor in tonight, before he rises, because either you'll keep him - effectively getting him at 0.2 cheaper than on Friday evening, or you'll decide not to keep him, by which time you'll have already made 0.1 profit on him.

Just be careful not to transfer out players who have risen whilst in your team, who you actually want to keep.

Uh oh, this is a pretty bleak week for Vorm/Begovic owners.

It looks bleak, but of those two I reckon it's bleaker with Begovic. Chelsea haven't shown the ability to utterly tear teams apart the way Utd have repeatedly. True, Rooney is in unusual form, and also Chicarito/Welbeck may miss it, but if the strikers don't score the insane mid probably will. The Chelsea midfield has few goals in it this season, I'd only back Mata, Malouda and Lampard look ropey, and I can't be sure of a reliable striker either! Torres might be lifted by his goal, but his incredible miss might drop him. Basically, I expect much less cutting edge from Chelsea.

As far as away fixtures go, Wigan Newcastle and Blackburn is about as good as it gets. Plus not only are Spurs/Arsenal games usually high scoring, Arsenal are a shambles at the moment, and Ade has a big point to prove. Expect a big score from him.
