Missed the action this weekend, not too happy with Walcott not starting but also, why didn't De Laet play? Is he out of favor?

is it time to transfer out Grant Holt? will he lose value?

should I bring Yakubu (same price, 5.5) on instead?

what about Aaron Ramsey? anyone think he's a worthwhile add? considering bringing Ramsey (6.3) in for Victor Moses (5.0)

    your thoughts are appreciated!

Yeah Yak is a good replacement, but the fixtures suck right now, so if possible try to find more funds for Sturridge or adbonglahor. Or also Best can be a good replacement.

Ramsay I dont like, since he probably wont get too much goals. I would look at Petrov or some others for that money.

Turns out captain Dzeko was the best (or equal) to my choices Rooney, Silva, Young, Suarez and Walcott.
Should have gone Dyer or Vorm 😉

I'm not a happy camper at all.

My mini league leader Silva(c). If Rooney took all his chances I would have had a 40 pointer from my Al Capitino that would have helped me work down his 30 pt lead.

The cherry on the cake was that I lost my h2h to someone that has not made a transfer at all this season. He had Drogba(c) and Rvp(v/c). 23 points from his bench(Sinclair + 2 CS)

And the Boks are playing the Wallybies in the 1/4.

I won't be available the rest of the week.

              😡

Did anyone watch the Sunderland game? How did Sess do? He's got some nice fixtures coming along, but when his only involvement (fantasy-wise) in a 4-0 win is an assist to a free kick, I'm thinking maybe it's better to look elsewhere.

It's either Sess out, Mata in, or one of Moses/Brunt out, SWP in.

      1 goal attempt
      20 passes in opponent's half
      2 key pass assist attempts
ICT score of 9.00 (very average)
      Influence score of 39

    Morning folks,

It looks as though the most value in the midfield will be the 8-10m midfielders this year with the likes of Young/Nani/Mata/Nasri/Silva/Cahill/Arteta?/Walcott?/VDV?

Who do you think is the best choice from the above?

Silva looks like a must have, along with one of the United lads, but what about the rest? Mata looks good with short-term fixtures, what about VDV? Also Arteta could be a decent Arsenal cover, not sure if he's in the same league as the others though

maybe VDV later in the season if he finds form; Tim Cahill tends to be streaky, scoring in spurts--Everton's fixtures are unfavorable for a while though

Defence: there are so many 4.0s, 4.5s getting these cleenies, there seems little value in pricey defenders particularly as they are getting so few boni.

Bad K - City aren't getting that many c.s though and seem to have changed to an attacking game.
Bos - not sure their fix are that great tbh.

Not sure I'd like 2 ubercheap mids if I downgrade Taraabt.

ade's a bit of a nutter and that seems to affect his form. When he's hungry and in the mood though he's a goal machine. He was awesome on the weekend unfortunately. I'm keeping suarez for now but will probably upgrade to aguero in the next few weeks.

It's a real pity there's no cheap forward this year like Oddthang that you can slot in there alongside the heavies.

Had a look at Sturridge but not guaranteed starts.

Yeah I see the appeal of the supercheap defence, it'sjust predicting where those clean sheets will fall. Other than Swansea they've been hard to call- and Newcastle to an extent, but I'd argue they've kept clean sheets in games where you wouldn't expect them to and conceded in the others.

City haven't conceded in a home league match (admitedly they've been easy home games) and their run of fixtures is EVE bla AVL mun WOL qpr NEW... you'd expect at least 4 out of that.

Then again I might let you talk me out of this one... an extra 2m on midfielders/strikers is pretty damn tempting!

I'm thinking SUN have a good run now and using someone like Brown.

The problem is...you don't know when anyone is going to get cleenies...ARS, CHS, MANU are all conceding as well.

Mata to Arteta, Dzeko to Ade, Suarez to Aguero

Not sold on Arteta, Gaz. Got him in Metro but I'm not sure of his FPL worth. Mata has some decent fix and from what I've seen of him, looks influential.

Yeah I looked at that route to Aguero. I just feel that a midpark of Nani, Silva and Mata is the way to go for now.

    Walcott > Nani worth a 4 pointer?
Mainly because I have 0.9 in the bank, so later in the week if it gets to "now or never" should i do it?

I have Walcott too (can do a straight swap for Nani though) but would feel like a waste since I just got Walcott and I like his chances @ home to Bolton better than I like Nani's @ stoke

Just beat the price changes 🙂

Picked up Adebyor for 8.00 sold Dzeko for 8.7

If i waited another day would of had to pay 8.1 and would
only have got 8.6 for dzeko , so .2 saved straight away 🙂

You clearly havnt watched him play.
He isnt a must have, but for 4.7 he is very good value. His scores have been good and for a bench warmer that you can play on easy games. He has looked dangerous every game and is bound to eventually get a few here and there.

if you are looking in the 5.0 price bracket (which al is) then I think Dyer is kinda a no brainer tbh. Up to the opinion of the manager themselves if they want an uber cheapo in mid tho of course.

    Some considerations for next week

    - Man City have awful record against Everton, ie. lost last 4 games at home. They will come to this game with UCL game with Bayern Munich on Tuesday in their mind.

    - Newcastle surprisingly lost all last 5 games they played Blackburn at home.

    - Arsenal won 5/6 games they meet Bolton at home. They scored 4 in last two matches where Fabregas was a man of the match in both games and RVP did not feature in both.

    - All statistics of Chelsea are better than Swansea. Pass accuracy of Swansea look impressive though.

    - Liverpool and Wolves beat their opponent on away game last season. S.Ward scored a winning goal for 1-0 win of Wolves while Torres doubled and Meireles grabbed another for 3-0 win of Liverpool.

    - WBA had a better record at home to Fulham, but not high scoring. On Wed, Fulham will play Chelsea and WBA will play Evertoon before Saturday clash.

    - Spurs have very good record against Wigan but at their home. But for away game, 50% of last 6 meet ended as a low scoring draw between Wigan and Spurs. Last game was a boring 0-0.

    - Man Utd beat Stoke in the last 3 games at Britania. Zero goals for Rooney but two for Chico in last season.

    - Umm.. Not much stats for saying about QPR and Norwich.

Will it be a week of home team? Some doubts created in my head.

      - Man City are a far better team this year, Everton far worse
      - Newcastle seem good defensively so far
      - Arsenal are half the team they were last year

Agree that Everton is worse w/o Arteta.

But last Man City team that lost to Everton were..

Hart; Zabaleta K.Toure Kompany Kolarov; Milner Y.Toure Barry Silva; Tevez Balotelli

The difference could be Aguero and Dzeko.

Hey guys, this week getting rid of old Brunt for sure...don't know who to bring in though...
Thinking one of the QPR 3 (SWP Barton Taarabt)
but have 2.1 in the bank and thinking of snapping up Modric - he looked back to his norm against LPool.
    any thoughts appreciated,
