Just to confirm.. A lot of us are doing badly - right?
I'm doing really badly, but the consolation is my rivals (Who were all fighting with me for the top of various leagues last season) are down with me at the bottom of our respective leagues.
I'm using this to reassure myself that we will fight back - a lot of the good players are down in the dumps. It makes for quite an exciting mid to end of season as people surely start to rise (and fall) dramatically!
But just to clarify - is anyone, anywhere, doing worse than me? (203 points!)

haha yeah i was 13k last year (first full season but i got pretty geeky about it!)
But this year I'm almost certain my 'gameplan' is better than it was last time. It seems everytime I buy a striker he gets injured or sent off or he just isn't rooney (Who I obviously bought and captained just in time for his missed pen!)
The rooney penalty nearly made me throw up actually, since i also had nani (on the assist) and it meant a 15 point swing!

223pts, 100pts behind rivals (that I beat by over 150pts last two seasons) - was top 2k in the last 2y, now cant reach top 1m.
So I guess it is a very slow start for those who spend time and watch for the fixtures. Good planning always wins, so I really think my season will finally kick off this week end (with Suarez/VP and co having really good fixtures)
Yeah was always in my mind to buy suarez this week but I'm now extremely tempted by adebayor.

You would think Tevez and Balloteli would start mid week and the other 2 at the weekend. It's a tough one, but if you have Dzeko you have to be prepared for him not to play everygame, his points per minute is pretty high tho

The only way I can raise the funds is downgrading Suarez to Agbon and Walcott to Arteta

Sell him for Mata, beat the price drop and get rid of that was of space while also keeping Chelsea coverage

I'm trying to stay calm this season and avoid mistakes of last few season's.
Also trying to avoid points hits and early use of wildcard but prices were ridiculous at the start of this season, they're going up fast.
By GW11 it may be pointless wildcarding as you won't be able to afford the team you want by then.
Plan was to WC as soon as gw 7 kicks off. I have 2 free trades(which I don't want to lose) and have already missed Ade/Djeko movements.
Trying to stay clam and stick to the original plan for WC.

I think I'd stick with Rooney, although Stoke away isn't the greatest of fixtures. United tend to win there though, one of the few teams that do.
Liverpool were an absolute shambles yesterday, right from the kick off. Suarez stamped around like a 4-year old who'd dropped his ice cream in the sand box and seemed ready to start biting people shortly before he was taken off. He may well score a hat trick against Wolves though, of course.
