With the Gameweek almost complete, our Members are able to pick apart individual performances via the statistics found in our Members Area, including our own ICT Index scores. Prior to tomorrow’s award of Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus points, here is our breakdown of the key performers from each match according to our ratings.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

those of you plannin early transfers.. for the first time in my fpl career i did early transfers.. walcott and rooney to nani and aguero.. now i'm readin that walcott gonna be back for the chamions league game.. would'nt be surprised with similar news bout rooney.. i was sure walcott would be out for a while.. now i've gone and put 2 rotation risks in my team as i could'nt afford any rises and regrettin every second of it:(..

That is a decent calculated risk in my eyes Keith.

Walcott is a busted flush, he is massively injury prone, rotation risk and spurns chance after chance.

I don't think Rooney will play even if fit, Norwich would be a cake walk for a Utd B team and SAF will want to keep him away from the internationals.

What are the figures regarding the threshold of price drops? There seems to be a threshold of 35k (I think) of a price rise of 0.1. But my question is basically, how many transfers out are there until a player drops 0.1?

    Thanks.

My motto is if changes have to be made at least if their done early in season points can easily be made up over the long season.

So after a few changes my update squad is this

    Given (Ruddy)

Baines Brown Anton Ferdinand (Simpson) (Boyata)

    Mata Brunt SWP Nani (Moses)

    Aguero (C) RVP (VC) Hoilett

    Lescott Enrique S.Taylor Orr Caulker
    Nasri Mata Sess Sinclair Moses
    Rooney Suarez Dzeco

Just cant decide what needs improving most and whether to take points hits, im worrying with defense with two injuries, midfield missing Silva/Nani and my attack with Rooney and Dzeco worries. Can anyone steer me in the right direction of what you would do first and what points hits Id be best taking, only 1 free transfer, thanks.

With just the one transfer, I think you should wait on more new on Rooney.

Or if you're impatient, Go Nasri to Silva. I for one think bar Rooney, Silva's been the most consistent player this season. Right from GW1.

    Likely team for next GW:

    Given(WIG)
    Bosingwa(bol) Kompany(bla) Simpson(wol)
    Sinclair(STO) SWP(ful) Sessegnon(WBA) Silva(bla)
    Suarez(eve) RVP(tot) Rooney(NOR)

    subs: Vorm(STO), Gabbidon(ful), Moses(avl), De Laet(mun)

Had a little look at the transfer page this afternoon and came up with these two options (i have 2 free transfers and nothing in the bank):

A - De Laet, Moses, Rooney -> Brown, Nani, Crouch/Sturridge
B - De Laet, Rooney -> Brown, Aguero

Selling Rooney looks like my only realistic way of raising some money to improve my defence/midfield. Either that or just swap for Aguero who i'm sure wil be amongst the goals at Ewood. Anyone like the look of A or B or am i going back to the drawing board? Cheers boys...

They've had two in the first 6 weeks already ... and two left for the remaining 32 weeks.

I'm keeping mine for the international break coming up ... but many will keep it for a rainy day down the line.

There's really no 'better' or 'worse' time to use it, only if you use it well or poorly.

Either that or they know something you don't know -- something that will destroy you!!! 😉

Evening, brief thoughts on todays from a fantasy football perspective.
Villa: N'Zogs doesn't look like scoring despite getting forward, Bannan looked excellent and what a free-kick he nearly scored with like to see him slightly more nailed on before putting him in. Warnock looks handy going forward wheras Hutton didn't look that threatening (and a defensive liability) on the other flank. Agbonlahor didn't suit the system villa played but that wasn't overly his fault and still picked up an assist.
QPR: Looked okay at the back, nothing more nothing less. Taarabt is a great talent but disappeared for large parts of the game. SWP gets in good positions but is a midget who can't finish. Barton looks good value especially with all the set plays as does Faurlin - is Faurlin a rotation risk? Bothroyd is an awful finished would expect to see DJ start the next game.

    What do other people think?

also on paper at least man utd have played a lot of good sides so far, it's easy to forget that with the near perfect start they've had points wise. you could also argue they've left themselves stretched with such rampant attacking football.
i can see why man utd fans love him, he's like action man in shorts 😉 i love him too, it's just the chelsea game seemed a healthy wake up call to perhaps ease the hype, healthy in that his previously wagging tail was put between his legs which should do him good long term.

i think it's more about consitency.. there was one like that early in the world cup and everyone was "oh is this a new directive"

nothing since that i've seen.. much worse happens all the time in the box.. it's either part of the game or not.. ref's have to be consistent

It was soft but doesn't mean it wasn't a pen. If it had been outside the area and the ref had a good view it would have been a foul and you would've seen few complaints.

I got 7 out of 9. Put my banker on Liverpool 2-1 (90 points) 🙂
Had Utd 2-1 and Villa 1-0. So close.

The way he's talking about Traore is just ridiculous.
