This week’s episode of the FFS podcast features some classic match-ups – Nani vs Young, Narni vs Nanny, Tomayto vs Tomahto, Sessegnon v Row Z, Common Sense vs Mark.

All battles are resolved, with the regular stalwarts of the ScoutCast thrown in, culminating with Mark’s desperate defence of his seemingly unshakable faith in Victor Moses. Also, look out for a mention of my Champions League placing – England’s number one for 24 hours no less.

    Rooney situation is causing tons of problems

    A) Rooney – chicarito, arteta – nani (C) for a hit
    B) Rooney – drogba, arteta – nani(C) for a hit
    C) Rooney – Drogba/Chica/RVP no hit… (C) goes to Aguero but no UTD coverage
    D) do nothing. (C) Aguero, rooney on the bench.

        I ditched to catch price movements but unless you're going to lose out from a Rooney price drop tonight you should probably hold out for more news then do C) or D) Fri night/Sat morning depending.

        Also don't bench Rooney. Put him in your starting line up, if he isn't fit let the auto sub do its job.

      I made the decision to ditch too, taking an 8 point hit 🙁
      Upgraded evra to baines, ferguson to nani and brought in best. 3-5-2 now

          At the moment i'm thinking of using the wildcard to this:

          Vorm
          Bosingwa, enrique, Kompany
          Nani, Silva, Ramsey, Ramires
          Rooney, Aguero, Adebayor

          Bench: Ruddy, Simpson, X , Ferguson

          Just need a 4m defender for the bench..

          Should be Young, Ferdinand, Gabbidon, Traore when all available.

          Tierney (Nor) is 4m but not really an option this week. Taylor (Swa) maybe or McAuley (WBA)?

            thanks for the response. I was also considering Taylor or McAuley as well as Barnett for Norwich. Will McAuley get consistent starts though..

              Not sure how secure McAuley is to be honest. He played well last week so potentially could be a bargain if he can retain his place?

    Granny, if you read this, is there any chance of reinstating the Fixture Preview back into the podcast? I really miss that section and I know I'm not alone. It's great to hear the views of both yourself and Mark regarding the individual matches!
