Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez have both been passed fit to play in tomorrow’s home game with Norwich City.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s press conference has passed and the resultant news is massive for Fantasy managers, with Rooney surely an overwhelming favourite for the armband as United look to get back to winning ways before the two week international break.

“Wayne and Hernandez are fit for tomorrow. They trained very well yesterday, which is pleasing.”

His recovery from a hamstring strain has been swift, then, missing out on just two games- last week’s game at Stoke and the midweek Champions League clash with Basel- with United failing to win either match.

Rooney sits on 43.6% Fantasy ownership but has been sold in the tens of thousands this week, with many assuming Fergie wouldn’t risk him with tough games against Liverpool and Man City just around the corner.

Those who have sold on will be ruing the decision; Rooney has scored in every game this season, racking up 59 points in just five league games and with the game kicking off at 3pm tomorrow, it’ll be a long and uncomfortable Saturday afternoon for those Fantasy managers without his services.

Those who sat tight will no doubt be smiling in anticipation of a possibly substantial points haul already.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Don´t know if that is sarcasm but I´m actually going to stay with Welbeck, not really feeling all the Hernandez love. Or all of the fake ¨Welbeck is only a one week pick¨ meme´s going about. Sounds like ethics here may be taking a dip, or people are that tone deaf as to who is actually playing well. Or more importantly, who is capable of scoring goals for them...outside of Rooney, Nani and Young. Going by the 3-3 CL match Welbeck hasn´t appeared to have dropped a bit. I never really bought into the sitting Wayne out narrative given how they´ve played. Nor, more importantly, have I bought into the Hernandez as SAF´s favorite narrative. As much as I love Chich, his game has a ceiling on it, I can´t recall him taking a shot outside of 10 yards. And more importantly he´s a taker and not a giver in their offense. Barca, has shown his type to be easily scouted/countered. So think what you want all, Dzeko out to Welbeck...I´d probably do it again.

Why would he be on the bench? He's had a two week rest and Fergie doesn't care if he's knackered for England.

Too late to stop the price drop though. Why do people always panic sell in this game. Just take a deep breath....relax and wait for news, otherwise the ones who sell are annoyed and the ones who didn't are annoyed at the ones who did.

Can see Rooney starting. They are level on points with City. So he will want to win this game as they got tough games ahead, especially after the wake up call he had against Basle

I hate to admit I did Rooney > Aguero last night.

In my defence, I think Aguero will score more points over the next few weeks so just have to hide behind the sofa whenever Rooney has the ball! Hopefully Young can do any assisting.

    Who shall I play tomorrow?

    Schwarzer or Vorm
    Brunt or Best

Going for Schwarzer and Brunt at the moment.

Go for Vorm, Swansea at home to a mid week stoke side offers better than Fulham mid week side who have been doing poorly against a QPR team on a high. Just look at clean sheets respectively.

Best... I like Brunt defo WBA best attacking mid, but WBA have been shocking going forward, despite Long looking good for a couple of games. Again just look at goals and points scored. Best may not, erm, be the best, but more likely to score against Wolves. Although personally I have my fingers crossed for a nil-nil in that game.

Cheers. Great response. I agree with Vorm really. I just feel Brunt can be involved from free kicks, corners, pens... Best is just relying on open play. Got a feeling Wolves will be up for it after a bit of a slump.

Vorm and Best, had I not gone for United coverage I would have gone with Best, a definite residual haul off the Ba fluke, happens all the time defenses over compensate and forget the real scorer. Vorm because Stoke will huff their way tto at least ahalf a dozen sh/tty shots on goal. Crouch will stink it up. Hopefully they will NOT give them any set-pieces or corners...if that happens, add a caveat to my above predictions.

Thanks. You're swaying me towards Best. It's just the Brunt set-pieces, against a Sunderland side that lost to Norwich and have had Bramble suspended (maybe a blessing in disguise).

Sunderland have been up/down, I fear this may be another up swing with the changes. And as a former Brunt disciple I feel another disappointing display coming. I´m content to give him more time to heal. Beware.
