      Regardless of fixtures, he still plays in the Wigan defence.
      For that reason, I'm out.

    Argh, posrted this at the end of the previous post. Oh well, here goes again:

    Is this a mad plan with my forwards? They are currently Dzeko, Aguero and Rooney.

    GW8 (this week) : Aguero -> Sturridge
    GW9 : Dzeko -> Suarez (funded by something like SWP -> Petrov)
    GW10: Sturridge -> Aguero
    GW11 ; (no plans)
    GW12: Suarez -> somebody

    I may lose 0.1 on Aguero, but may well make it up with price drops/rises.

    Does that seem crazy. It just seems to cover the right teams for the right gws…

    My worry is Aguero may actually play on Saturday.

      No harm done imo, I doubt Aguero will play this game and you can afford to miss him against Utd, no goalfest there I think.

      First 2 transfers look good to me, have you thought of getting in RVP instead of Aguero again, considering his good run of fixtures?

      My plan is to get Suarez for Liverpool's run of 3 easy games, and to swap Suarez for RVP.

      Aguero may play, but if Balotelli and Dzeko are fit, he may chose to start Aguero on the Bench.

        GW10 and 11 look good for Man City though, so Aguero would be tempting for those.

      Sure - go ahead and lose 0.2m when you have to buy Rooney back and admit it was a bad move. RVP is superb but I don't think he can carry the whole side without service.

        Not so sure about money issue, it's very much possible that rooney will fall 0,1 in coming weeks and rvp will almost definetely rise 0,2...still, I get you point, but also tempted to take a little gamble - I don't trust silva as captain this week, if they are leading 2-0 he'll be subbed 60-70 mins.

          Agreed - you may well be right. I just think that bringing in RVP means selling Rooney or so damaging a good line up that it's not worth the risk.

          Wrt to C for this coming GW it's a complete lottery

          Buy low, sell high. RVP will most definitely rise...just make sure you can get Rooney back. It's a gamble, but I think the Dutchman has enough favorable fixtures to have his price rise before Arsenal run into unfavorable fixtures and you have to resort to Rooney...Do it V.

      Think Wilson may be crocked*, so with Upson seemingly playing the role of Woodgate's European shadow, I'd say Wilkinson looks safer than he did.

    got steven taylor and adebayor so maybe a silver lining to ade's injury.
    also not sure whether it's a good thing if ade is risked or not. you want him to play but you don't want him to make it worse. i worry that 'arry has a history of starting his star players when he probably shouldn't bale and vdv at times last season)

    Re post from last page

    My current team is;

    Given, Vorm
    Bosingwa, Kompany, R.Johnson, Enrique, Simpson
    Silva, Young, Ramsey, N.Dyer, Moses
    Rooney, Aguero, Sturridge.

    I have 2 free transfers, was planning just one this week to get rid of Roger Johnson.

    I can spend up to 5.5m was thinking of;

    1) Gibbs
    2) Walker
    3) Shawcross
    4) Cahill

    Advice please…

    If it helps make anyone's decision selected best anytime goalscorer odds for this weekend are:

    RvP - 1.91
    Ageuro - 1.95
    Sturridge - 2.25
    Silva - 2.75
    Adebayor - 3
    Mata - 3.05
    Suarez - 3.25
    Klasnic - 3.75

    I can only assume these don't factor in injury doubts. Based on this I should captain Sturridge... do I have the balls...

      Stick with it. This game is about a conservative long term strategy, using you're 15 and ignoring 1 week punts (unless you have a WC coming up or a DGW).

      Ag and Ade are out for 1 game. 4 transfers to get them out and in again. You lose money too.

    What to do with the mess?

    Vorm (Given)
    Enrique, Kompany, Bosingwa (Simpson, De Laet)
    Nani, Silva(C), Dyer, B.Johnson (Cabaye)
    Aguero, Rooney(v), Adebayor

    0.3 in bank, 1 free change.

    2 injury doubts up top, not enough money for RVP. Will need 0.2 to get either or Aguero or Adebayor back if i want. Do I rely on Cabaye and Simpson to come to rescue or make a change?

    Got 4.7 to spend on a defender and I'm thinking Bolton. Mr Z Knight. Good or bad idea?

      he was out the team last week so i think it's a risk to do it now. boyata is only 4 and just as likely to play as knight at the moment imo

        But boyata played only once or twice...atleast knight is a regular starter except chelsea game...n he does hv a goal threat frm set pieces..he is 6'5 or something...
        P.s - is he a cb/rb/lb?

        Just as likely, as in not likely? Hmmmm. At least Boyata is cheap. Woodgate isn't a bad shout, decent fixtures for Stoke. Could get Woody in this week then a Bolton chap next week. Got two rubbish defenders to replace....

      Might inspire him to flatten someone...
      The crowd will bait him relentlessly. But he's paid good money to ignore all that.

          I am confident he'll play after a hat trick at Bolton and a sub role for England. Bosingwa is who I'm worrying about, Ivanovic could get the nod at RB ahead of him. Hopefully not, but it is a slight risk.

            As soon as Bos is rotated, I'll thank him for the points and profit and then get rid.

            Simply cannot allow for defenders to get rotated.

            The likes of Aguero and Nani are a completely different matter.

          Frank will definitely start, I think.
          But am I right in saying that Everton did well at the Bridge last year? Was it a draw?
          I don't expect loads of goals.

          I'm starting to think if my expensive Rooney RVP Suarez forward line would be better off downgraded to 2 expensive, one cheap forward like agbonlahor; since I have the likes of Moses, Dyer etc. in my ranks

          maybe gamble on Wilkinson of Stoke keeping his place with Stokes nice run of upcoming fixtures, or a QPR/Wigan defender. In truth though; i've personally preferred to double up with swansea/newcastle due to the way they rotate well and lack of options elsewhere
