The Gameweek Nine doomsday clock is ticking louder and louder. Fantasy managers face the prospect of falling by the wayside or rising in glorious fashion with just a simple click of the button split between them.

With just an hour to go the Saturday Surgery is back…

The Scout Selection Committee has offered up our weekly Scout Picks to help those on their way – Big Dunc has provided a slice of alternative pie with his Differentials.

Johnfinlay has diligently provided everyone with all of the week’s Team News while Mark and Sir Paulos have given Fantasy Managers all sorts to worry about be it our Watchlist contenders or giving our paid Members a bit of extra bang for their buck with some Talent and Monitor pieces to stew over.

Meanwhile, Granville has been using the Scoutcast to do what it is that he does best.

Let us wile away this 60 minutes and make the right choices. Cooler heads prevail.

          Stoke have played seven competetive away fixtures this season, their record;

          W 3 D 2 L 2

Their heaviest defeat coming against Sunderland, do you people just pull these opinion's from your a**?

I think the 4-0 at Sunderland is sticking in peoples' heads a bit much. Stoke have had a decent start to the season and personally I can't see them loosing by too much at the Emirates.

Agreed, 2-0 maybe but I think Pulis knows they are poor after Europa league games. I don't know if his selection on Thursday tried to address that?

2-1 would be my prediction, Arsenal will flap from Stoke set pieces and undoubtably concede. It'll be another close one for Arsenal.

A few of the Sunderland goals were fortuitous to say the least and Swansea are a decent side at home. I think the Arsenal game could be a close one.

He is, but i can afford him as i wouldn't be sacrificing anything in attack. He gets so many save points and will hopefully bring me more clean sheets than Vorm has managed so far(keep picking him in the wrong weeks)

I was very tempted to do similar (Young for VDV last week) and use the extra money to strengthen other areas of my team as well (don't know what their current values are mind)

My only worry is that VDV does tend to play only 60 mins and he can be very injury prone, however in those 60 minutes he usually picks up a lot of points

He was a star for me last season so I'm thinking of working him back in soon, I'm starting to worry that I've got almost TOO much Man Utd coverage now with Nani/Young & Rooney and the dreaded squad rotation and this spreads things out a bit more.

Kompany or Taylor (SWA) at the back?

I have Rooney, Nani and Young so seems to be a contradiction if I pick Kompany (despite him scoring well in FF so far)

(My GK choice is Vorm or Ruddy so I am going for Vorm)

No other substitute options because of injuries

With Rooney being on penalties all it takes is a mistimed tackle and you get a decent chance of a goal, also periodically helps with freekicks - can't forget the two against Arsenal. Even though I hope he'll get nothing you can never count him out.
