Carlos Tevez could feature again for Man City- but only if he says sorry. Nemanja Vidic is looking to hit top form, Chelsea are forced to watch their weekend mauling again, while Barry Bannan’s club ban is lifted by Aston Villa:

Nemanja Vidic reckons he’s on his way back to his best after an eight-week absence at the start of the season. The Serbian has played back-to-back games for United over the last week, recording clean sheets against Aldershot and Everton, and spoke of the frustration of being sidelined:

I have never been out so long. I was desperate to be there but at least we did well, so I didn’t have that much pressure to come back and play. That helped me. Now I feel well. I don’t feel any pain, which is the most important thing. I can move on, try to reach my top form game by game and help the team reach our goals.

Arsene Wenger admits he is tempted to keep with the players that saw off Chelsea on Saturday for this evening’s Champions League game with Marseille. The Gunners boss is looking to continue the momentum that has seen his side win eight of their last nine matches:

I am tempted to do it. Sometimes if you take a team on a roll there is no need to change it. You can defend any decision but when a team is on a positive experience, why not? That is what I have to decide. I changed players away from home at Donetsk last season and got punished.

Abou Diaby has suffered a setback in his recovery from an ankle problem. The midfielder has yet to play in the league this season and according to Arsene Wenger, will be out for another three weeks as he builds up his muscular strength.

Reports this morning suggest Roberto Mancini is considering allowing Carlos Tevez a return to the Man City first-team fold- but only if Tevez says sorry. Speaking to the Italian press, the Man City boss was quoted as saying:

Everything depends on Carlos. If he apologies to the squad and to me then everything will be as before. If he doesn’t then Tevez has a value that everyone knows and something will happen in January. He is totally unprepared and being badly advised. I don’t want it to be like this and I would be the first to forgive him.

Ahead of City’s trip to Villarreal, Mancini has revealed he feels Mario Balotelli is a key figure in the club’s Champions League campaign. The forward had been banned for the first three games after a red card in the Europa League last term and was the only forward Mancini rested for the home game against Wolves on Saturday.

QPR’ s Akos Buzsaky is set to undergo an operation after a cyst was found in his knee . The Hungarian has been plagued with the problem for some time and has not featured in the league since gameweek three. He will now go under the knife during the upcoming international break and expects to be out of action for a short period of time.

Branislav Ivanovic revealed the Chelsea players have been forced to sit through a re-run of Saturday’s horror show at home to Arsenal. The side have struggled to keep out opponents so far, with a single clean sheet after ten games and the Serbian is confident of a return to form ahead of the weekend trip to Blackburn:

We know how we made mistakes and how we plan to do things better. We have to be fully concentrated for the whole game and be strong for 90 minutes. In some moments, we lost some concentration. We weren’t fully concentrated and things happened that we didn’t want to happen, and that changed the game psychologically. This could be one of the most important things in our season after this game: a great reaction of the group would be good to show how we are strong.

Didier Drogba will undergo an arm operation during his three-match ban and is expected to be available when his suspension ends, with the game against Liverpool on November 20th earmarked for his return. Drogba will have screws removed from an arm after they were inserted in a previous operation.

Aston Villa today revealed they have lifted Barry Bannan’s suspension. The club had banned the player after recent off-field issues but Alex McLeish confirmed Bannan has returned to training and will be available for selection this weekend against Norwich.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Yes but had to downgrade Cabaye to a 5.3 mid and lose Ade to get him - now have Studge RVP Suarez Mata Silva and VDV as front 6 - do me proud team - worried about the lack of differential though!

yeah im going to wait for nasri, thinking of taking gerrard out for lampard and downgrading nasri with some1.
With regards to my defence this week it will be richards barnett and ward, have wes brown in my defence but hes at old trafford this weekend!

Eugh yeah that isn't the best. Lamps isn't a bad option, seems to be in good form at the moment.
I'm replacing Gerrard as well this week and am looking at a 4 point hit with a downgrade and one of my defenders becoming a Man U defender.

            Gerrard > Lamps
            A.hughes>P.jones
            Nasri>5.9 mid??

As an ex nasri owner sell because he will never get a consistent run in the team , he may well get 1 big score but then nothing for the next few weeks.

I have never doubted baines he has had tough fixtures and on sat was unlucky with the free kick v united off the bar.

For me he will deliver double figure scores on a few occassions now the fixtures are better.

Waht other defender is capable of delivering double figure points in 1 match and is also on most set pieces for their team.

That for me is why baines is a must.

I guess Everton are starting to settle as well. Plus he's not the worst differential (I guess he'd have low ownership figures). I ditched him myself because I realised that this isn't the season where having a 7.0+ defender doesn't guarantee points like last season, but I'm just being the devil's advocate here!

    Bendtner Rooney RVP

Nice. I would downgrade begovic(you have Wilko). Especially if Shawx misses a couple of games then i suppose Stoke might not be so organised as they used to be. Better for a 4m def(Wilko) to concede than a 5m keeper(Begovic)

It also allowes you to get Sturridge instead of Bendy(you have Sezzgnon). Very very nice team. Nicely set up for Spuds/EVE double as well.

How about Vorm in the back there? rotates well with either of Kenny/Krul

Defence is a little bit of a worry - but only because Wilkinson may lose his place and similar with Simpson (although this has been a worry for a long time and nothings come of it).

Mids and Fwds are fine. Drenthe is a nice differential, but I'm not sure I'd go for it with Sinclair, Walters, Ramsey (I know quite a bit more expensive but still in the ball park) all at similar prices.

I think you're compromising yourself by having Rooney and RvP - perhaps have one or the other and Suarez or perhaps Aguero if you want to spend big.

Im probably gonna play Sinclair this week and that doesnt bother me, i still dont believe we are a good source of clean sheets, like most other teams to be honest. I could quite easily see us conceeding andd possibly giving away a penalty.

How are ppl gonna kneejerk all of em in along with RVP and VDV and Silva.. honestly i've realised you should just stick with your guns and not chase.. no doubt RVP is brilliant but i'm not gonna get him in for a hit.. this week rooney scores a hattrick/sturridge scores a brace and rvp gets 2 points it'll be back on the sick cycle carousel again.. the knee jerkin and "essentials" on here is crazy

Spot on. Chasing lost points by doing points hits is the worst way to go. I like to do one a week max and keep my second transfer in reserve just in case... You have to accept you can't have all the big scoring players at once. It's the captain choice that's key in this game compared to other games in my opinion. I had 57 last week Rooney (c), had I have chosen RVP would have scored 74....

Ah, Oldham. The last time I saw Norwich play was when we entertained you guys at Carrow Road. Ended 2-0 in our favour but your fans were brilliant. Plus they started the classic 'let's pretend we've scored!'

Tom is good, but he won't be Premier League good. In saying that, he's probably one of our better academy graduates in the past few years and will probably be a very solid Championship midfielder in a few seasons.

Christ, was it only 2-0? felt like u battered us. i made a weekend of it. clearly you didnt deserve to be in that league. pies were very good too! i still enjoyed the game and spent a great deal of it checking prem scores for fantasy..i recall fabs missing a pen....

He's popped up with a couple of goals for us. Looked a bit lost at first but getting stuck in more now. I can't see it but would be great to get him for another season.

I think if you can field a good team for GW11 then saving a transfer is a good idea.

felt good getting back to a respectable 63pts for the wknd, although having played my WC my last decision of the week was whether to stick with suarez or go with RVP, as i had the money to do so.

Serious question mark over Rooney due to new role v Everton. Stall the digger until after the next game and see if he's still stuck in midfield - if so, do NOT touch with a barge pole. RVP's the man, same price so interchangeable.
