Just like the Dutch duo of Van der Vaart and Van Persie, Mark and I keep on delivering, week in week out. With over 60 episodes under our belts, we’ve almost got the hang of it, the banter now nearing the levels of Compo, Foggy and Clegg. Another 300 episodes should crack it.

Like our Sunday night sitcom anti heroes, we once again we deliver the regular formula. A mini-league round-up, a miffed from me, the “all aboard” sift through the bandwagons all leading into our weekend preview. Then we both roll down a hill in a bath tub.

It’s all here. Apart from the last bit about the bath tub.

With doubts over Silva and Larsson, is it too risky to bench Kompany and do Bos->Jones? Should I get rid of Kompany instead? (bench would be Dyer, N.Taylor, Kompany)

And Jafa, don't talk to me about ubercheaps, that's not the topic of discussion right now 😉

Bos is a little useless now isnt he, considering form. City have a soid defence, so youll want Kompany come GW12. I'd say do Bos -> Jones. Purely based on uniteds great fixtures and Jones' attacking potential and Chelsea being rubbish at the back.

Bos -> Jones seems like the better longer-term trade. Its not too risky. Dyer can do his duty and sub in if needed...

thanks but I mean for long term until Christmas (Wild Card free).
anyway i have RVP, Suarez, Aguero for this week.
I'll keep RVP til then, but about: Aguero, Suarez and Rooney, Adebayor and Sturridge, i must choose 2 from them.

I think Aguero has got to be included for both short and long term. City are on fire and Aguero will be continue to be a big part of that.

His scores have dropped a little after his little injury but he has still scored and assisted in his 'bad patch'.

I'd leave Rooney for now until we see where he will be definitely be playing and he hits a bit of form

maybe ShawX just gets 2p this week if he'a available for Bolton
Evans seems to start every games for Man utd these days, I'm afraid he will be rested. Many Red Devil want to see Rio-Vidic in the center atm.

generally Evans is a gamble in short term also long term. if i was you, i wont get him

I’m quite happy with my team for GW11, but my defence looks godawful for GW12.

    Any suggestions?

    GW11
    Krul (Vorm)
    Ward Simpson Enrique (Kompany Naylor)
    VDV Silva Ramsey Murphy (Brunt)
    RVP Suarez Adebayor

I’m thinking Enrique -> Wilkinson, Krul -> Howard for GW 12. Thoughts?

Forgot to mention I have 0.0 in the bank. I would do that, but I can't afford it. :s

I'm thinking about it on a GW to GW basis. With a mind on just 3 defenders per GW and going top heavy, I'm just hoping to get by by patching up in the most efficient hit-friendly way possible. 🙁

It would paper over some cracks thats for sure.

But rather like myself you like like you need a defensive overhaul. Ward, Naylor, Krul, Simpson Vorm all have bad fixtures on the horizon.

I'm WCing next week, not only to sort out my defense but to get rid of Dyer, Moses, Petrov & Agbon too

Slightly forward thinking, but which 2 would you bench from this lot next week? Probably Brown and Woodgate right?

Jones (swa), Woodgate (QPR), Wilkinson (QPR), Brown (FUL), Moses (BLA)

Huth started the year there, having done well previously at RB for Stoke; speculation that Huth may move on in January though, and Wilkinson has taken over the RB role in the last month or so

I'm looking to bring in Wilkinson to my team--the plan is for him to take D. Simpson's spot

monitor the Stoke backline--provided Wilkinson retains the spot this weekend, he should be a solid addition at a favorable price

    Need some advice:

    Given (Vorm)
    Enrique Bos Simpson (Woodgate Komp)
Moses Petrov Silva VDV (N Dyer)
    Agbon Aguero RVP

Already used my FT on getting in RVP for Roon. But am thinking that my MF is already weak (Petrov & Moses are doing nothing) so if Silva doesnt play and Woodgate doesnt too I only have N Dyer who is also doing nothing and has a very tough fixture. It also leaves me with no room for a freak warm up injury.

I'm wildcarding next week to sort out the mess but I'm thinking that in the meantime I should take a 4 point hit to get in Jones (for Komp) and play 4-3-3 (dropping Mr 2 pointer himself M*ses).

It's risky of course hoping for a cleanie from Utd and that Jones might get some bonus/attacking points but it might just come off.

    Thoughts?

In the not too distant future City have some tough fixtures coming up and they're hardly stirdy at the back this year.

I'd definitely do Jones>Komp. Fergie is trying to shore up the defense and they have a nice run of games coming up. Then theres the attacking potential to consider as well. It will make your DF look a lot better for this week too

You can do De Laet/Ward>Wilkinson the following week

Looking strong I think. You might rue not having RVP though.....but I'm sure you're well aware of that 😉

Nice front line. Welbeck should play with Anderson probably missing and Roonpig taking his place in CM.

      why you buy Welbeck?
you buy him and you have to ask this question every week

I'm a Utd fan and would be very surprised if he didnt start.

My best guess on team would be
          DG
          PJ Vida Evans Evra
          Park Roon Fletch Nani
          ....Wellbeck......
          .......Chica........

you must ask this question every week and i'm sure you wont believe anyone answer it than yourself, because nobody know that. Fergie is the most strange coach in the world.

After his start to the season a lot of people (including myself) chose to capt him all season regardless of fixtures.

Looks like some people are sticking to it. I sold him sharpish after the Everton game

Hoping Rooney will do nothing in the mid this week, RVP scores 2 goals

and if it happens, after international break i think Rooney will be drop to 11,6-11,7
and i can get him in pair with RVP 😀

my captain picks between vdv, rvp & silva.

going with vdv over rvp for the 3rd time in a row. why?
    1) london derby brings goals
    2) PPI magnet with all his shots on goal
    3) west brom's defence is decent enough to avoid a rampage imo. fulham lack discipline at the back at the moment. predict a 1-0 or 1-1.

    any counter-arguments?

who is the better first substitute?: D. Simpson (Everton, home) or Sinclair (Liverpool, away)?

Tough one. Cant see Swansea scoring, but if they do it will likely be from a peno or set piece likely taken by Sinclair.

I'd go Simpson.....but only because I've missed out on so many of his cleanies so far that I'm loathe to miss out on any more
