Just like the Dutch duo of Van der Vaart and Van Persie, Mark and I keep on delivering, week in week out. With over 60 episodes under our belts, we’ve almost got the hang of it, the banter now nearing the levels of Compo, Foggy and Clegg. Another 300 episodes should crack it.

Like our Sunday night sitcom anti heroes, we once again we deliver the regular formula. A mini-league round-up, a miffed from me, the “all aboard” sift through the bandwagons all leading into our weekend preview. Then we both roll down a hill in a bath tub.

It’s all here. Apart from the last bit about the bath tub.

i was debating Setrov over Metrov.

Setrov did well last week and deserves a shot against NOR.

then again, if Metrov doesn't perform, he's gone.

sorry guys repost - ended at the bottom of the previous page

Morning guys, am on my wildcard and i can this evening to be a stressful one. Which of the following options you guys think is best (considering fixtures and form)

    Option 1
    Vorm/Ruddy
    Kompany, Jones, Evans, Enrique, Simpson
    Silva, VDV, Walters, Sessignon, Drenthe
    RVP, Aguero, Graham

    Option 2
    Vorm/Ruddy
    Kompany, Jones, Evans, Enrique, Simpson
Silva, VDV, Ramiers, Sessignon or Walters, Johnson
RVP, Aguero, Graham (could upgrade but can think of other striker <6.2mm)

    Option 3
    Vorm/Ruddy
    Kompany, Jones, Wilko, Enrique, Simpson
    Silva, VDV, Mata, Johnson, Allen
    RVP, Aguero, Graham

My initial idea was to move away from my current 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 formation to 3-5-2 formation

Players shipped out (or being considered to ship out) are SWP, Moses, Petrov, Johnson, Torres, Rooney, Bossingwa, Shawcross

Your thoughts will be much appreciated

Its going to be a long long Friday for me

      i'd take (1) and play 3-5-2

Rooney may be out of form but MUN fixtures are favourable in the coming weeks.

thats the idea behind having both evans and jones - planning on benching evans. Should jones not play, then evans comes in for him (with the hope that he plays) - increases my probability of united defence coverage

Considering doing Wildcard for International break because I’m away from Dec 8th to January 3rd and won’t be able to manage team while away.

    So this is plan:
    Given>Westwood
    Bosingwa>Wilkinson
    De Laet>Evans J
    Orr>Rangel
    Murphy>Eagles
    Dyer>Johnson
    Agbon>Aguero

Keeping: Suarez, RVP, Silva, Vorm, Simpson, Ramsey, VDV

Leaves 0.3 in the bank. Not bothered about getting Rooney in for now, would need to downgrade Suarez, RVP, VDV, Silva or Aguero to afford him.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

I would save it yeah, doesn't seem a whole lot you can do with just 0.8 with those players, you'd need to downgrade elsewhere next week. Save the trade then you can do something like the below in GW12:

      Suarez>Hoilett
      De Laet>Jones

In my view between 8.9 and 8.3 is quiet a gap. And I don't see Adam will score as many as Dempsey. Adam only has one goal from open chance also I think Dempsey's assists are more of a quality.

I'm not a Sunderland fan, but I think Larrsson is the better FPL player albeit only slightly. What you have to watch though is that Larrsson is one booking away from a suspension and is 0.5 more expensive.

    a) Pilkington (AVL A) or

Wise move IMO providing Rooney is back as a striker soon.

Hernandez respresents no value at 10 million with rotation risk same with nani at that price.

I'm in a similar boat (see below) - I think everyone on here knows how sh1te Jevans is, but it's all about how long he'll be in the side....which is anyones guess. The safe bet is Jones since he can play MF and offers attacking potential. The opportunity lies with Jevans, if he can hold down a place.....that hasn't answered your question at all, has it?!

The united defence is going to be a nightmare to predict this season, even with smalling out for the month the next games are going to be difficult to predict.

Jones should be right back for this weekend, Fabio can play there as well though so Jones could hop into midfield potentially. Evra is your safest bet into the untied defence at the moment - he's unlikely to be rotated with fabio. The central defence is also a bit of a nightmare, vidic is probably the most nailed on and the rotation with him was likely due to needing to get back into the swing of things after an injury, red card and missed penalty. You can expect to see Ferdinand and Evans rotated quite a lot but I think Evans will get more games, you also need to remember that both smalling and jones are centre backs so Jones could be troubling one of those two for the positions. I have Jones myself but I can see him being a victim of his own versatility. There is a possibility that Jones might partner Rooney in midfield and valencia could go to right back for this game despite his involvement midweek

Rooney looks to be starting in midfield again this week, Anderson seems to be injured - doubts over carrick and fletcher with Cleverley out for a bit longer. It's not definite that Rooney will play in midfield but if he does then welbeck will definitely play - I would also commit to saying that Welbeck will play no matter what as he didn't play mid week whereas Hernandez played pretty much a full game. The plan was clearly to play hernandez and welbeck this weekend with berbatov playing midweek. I think they will both start this weekend. I would feel pretty comfortable saying Rooney will be in midfield this weekend.

Obviously we should get a little bit of info from Fergie later but my blind stab in the dark at the united starting lineup would be -
    De Gea
    Valencia Vidic Evans Evra
    Park Rooney Jones Nani
    Welbeck Hernandez

Hi all, could do with some TFF help.

I started a week or so behind everyone else in my work league, so have had to burn the transfers to get back into any kind of contention. Team at the moment is:

    Given
    Kompany, Gibbs, S Taylor
    Silva, Young, Wright-Phillips, Mata
Rooney, Van Persie, Walters (annoyingly a forward in this game!)

I've switched Kompany for Richards as a season keeper now. Can't afford a player scoring no points, and it saves me £0.9m

Decision I have now is with Young and Gibbs both potentially sidelined, are there any decent, long-term moves I can make to sort the situation out. Thoughts:

    A) Gibbs -> J. Evans // Young -> VdV
    B) Gibbs -> Walker // Young -> VdV or Nani
    C) Gibbs -> J. Evans // Walters -> Suarez (in a week or two when Stoke's fixtures get tricky)

    I'd appreciate your thoughts!

Maybe I'm crazy but thinking of playing Brown and bench Wilkinson. Brown would do everything to get a goal or assist against his old team. And Stoke will probably be thrashed by Bolton because they tired from the Europa game. Stoke did field all their best players yesterday?

The likelihood of United thrashing Sunderland is much much higher than Bolton thrashing Stoke, regardless that Stoke played a strong 11 last night.
