Just like the Dutch duo of Van der Vaart and Van Persie, Mark and I keep on delivering, week in week out. With over 60 episodes under our belts, we’ve almost got the hang of it, the banter now nearing the levels of Compo, Foggy and Clegg. Another 300 episodes should crack it.

Like our Sunday night sitcom anti heroes, we once again we deliver the regular formula. A mini-league round-up, a miffed from me, the “all aboard” sift through the bandwagons all leading into our weekend preview. Then we both roll down a hill in a bath tub.

Can you please help me make a quick decision?!

This is my current team:

Given

Ward, Richards, Simpson

Silva, VDV, Moses, Petrov

RVP, Rooney, Adebayor

(Vorm, Kompany, Gabbidon, Dyer)

I have one free transfer and 0.2m in the bank.

I was thinking of doing Kompany to Jones.

But then i am unsure who to bench if i make that transfer?

Opinions please please please!!!!

  Kompany to Jones makes sense to me. Jones has good fixtures coming up, its an easy choice. Bench Ward, Dyer, Gabbidon in that order

I may have boxed myself in with my plans as I always aimed at playing my WC after GW11 since GW7. In hindsight this was a bit silly as I ended up making transfers knowing I was always going to play my WC after GW11 so I didn't look at fixtures beyond that. Now however I feel that perhaps I don't need to play my WC as I don't have any major injury or form issues that can't be rectified by only using 1 transfer a week.

What do you all reckon, should I stick with my plan to WC after this weekend or hold out for another game week or two? The fixtures are not exactly in my favor though. At this stage I am thinking of seeing how certain players go this weekend before making a final decision

  Think you need some Man Utd cover for their upcoming games. Play the wildcard on saturday afternoon, and finalise your team before the next GW deadline. If your smart you can make some money during the break (using FISO to help), but dont sell and buy back players your definitely keeping.

The Rooney Conundrum. I have him, I'm keeping him. But for those of you havering, with or without, I think the punt to take might be Welbeck, fwiw ... not Hernandez. Just the thought I have.

  1) london derby brings goals
  2) PPI magnet with all his shots on goal
  3) west brom’s defence is decent enough to avoid a rampage imo. fulham lack discipline at the back at the moment. predict a 1-0 or 1-1.
