In case you missed it, we launched entry for the Paddy Power Cup earlier this week. Entry is free and is still open, with gameweek 12 set to be our qualifying round which will reduce our entrants to 1024 teams for round one.

We had a few teething troubles with our entry form, with confirmation emails failing for a period. So, to help matters, we’ve created a list of entrants so far, so visitors can check to see if their username is present in our list.

If you’ve previously submitted an entry and can’t find your username, please email akers@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk with your username and FPL team id.

If you’ve yet to enter, there’s still plenty of time to add your name to the list. The entry form is available here.

You can find full details on the Paddy Power Cup right here.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Silva to be rested this Saturday?
Remember Man City have a vital European tie away at Napoli on Tuesday.

I can't see him starting both games.

Kompany might be another rotation candidate. He had 2 x 90 mins in the European qualifiers.

This is an important game as well. Everyone seems to forget how good Newcastle are this season. I doubt any of the main guys will start on the bench.

I agree Silva will be rested, he probably isnt even back from South America yet. The long flights make players more susseptible* to injuries
Kompany played in Europe so I think he and Balotelli are ok.
I have a feeling Dzeko may start to help him forget about the loss to Portugal
Think City will line up as

        DeJong Barry
        Johnson YaYa Milner
        Dzeko
        .....maybe!!

I can't see Silva playing 60 mins on Saturday followed by 90 mins away in Italy on Tuesday.

Man City need to win on Tuesday. The European match must be the priority.

    Evening lads, gents.

I wonder if I could get a little bit of advice on what I should do with Balotelli. If I did transfer him out it would be for Adebayor. However, is it worth holding onto him for the Newcastle game?

      B. De Laet is your only urgent issue. A doesn't make a lot of sense with BAE having a DGW down the road. As to C, Drenthe seems to be the flavor of the week on here but whether he will produce is an open question. Certainly no urgency. Sturridge has 2 home games ahead, so D doesn't seem like a 'can't wait' move. And E is just plain stupid, given these options.

Despite all the love he is getting on here, Drenthe seems like a FF crapshoot. But he has a decent schedule ahead. You might think about Chris Brunt who has a proven track record and a decent near term schedule. It's hard to argue with Jones, but you might think about somebody who rotates well with Simpson - Wes Brown. Saves you some cash too.

Seems to be. Tamas is back from injury, yet McAuley continues to start. West Brom have a decent near term schedule too - BOL, TOT, qpr, WIG.

Don't know if its already been mentioned on here, I'm sure it has but the Spurs Everton game has been scheduled for the 11th Jan. Bit disappointed with that, was hoping it would have been earlier really!

Does anyone think that Bos will drop tonight?
Gonna swap him for Lescott, no-one in my mini league has him and he is due a goal soon!

Villa are away to Tottenham. Might want to start someone instead of Warnock.

Guys any help with my team is appreciated!

    Given Vorm
    Jones Walker Brown Simpson Enrique
    Ramsey Silva VDV Dyer Moses
    RvP Adebayor Suarez

Need some advice, have 0.7M in the bank and 1FT.

Given to Howard (Howard and Vorm seem to rotate well) .... OR

Would it be worth a 4 point hit to do:

    1) Moses and Suarez to Drenthe and Bendtner?

Given to Howard. Moses is home v Blackburn. This may be the week for the boy (he says with eternal optimism) and Suarez is coming off a 4-goal game for his country, so a 4 point hit there doesn't make sense to me.

Brown and Simpson (if you can bench Simpson for the next 3) - rotate home and away perfectly.
