Fantasy Football Scout – Paddy Power Cup – Entry Update

In case you missed it, we launched entry for the Paddy Power Cup earlier this week. Entry is free and is still open, with gameweek 12 set to be our qualifying round which will reduce our entrants to 1024 teams for round one.

We had a few teething troubles with our entry form, with confirmation emails failing for a period. So, to help matters, we’ve created a list of entrants so far, so visitors can check to see if their username is present in our list.

If you’ve previously submitted an entry and can’t find your username, please email akers@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk with your username and FPL team id.

If you’ve yet to enter, there’s still plenty of time to add your name to the list. The entry form is available here.

    Okay guys. Counting all the factors in, ie: International games played, Champions League matches to be played, form and fixtures and rotation risks, Ive got 2 questions.

    Is Evans likely to slot in at CB at Swansea (since he might rest Ferdy/Vidic for the midweek CL game and considering Phil Jones played a lot for England over the weekend)

    Is Bosingwa likely to play this weekend (cause of Ivan's involvement in the international friendlies and considering that Bos hasn't played any other football the last 2 weeks)

      I would guess no and no - Ferdinand probably needs a game rather than a rest, and I think Fergie wants to get the stability back into the defence so Vidic and Rio CB.

      Bosingwa I'm less sure on, but a couple of friendies in Europe isn't too bad for Ivan.

    I put Jones in last night, now all my mates are turning round and saying he definitely won't play as he's seen too much action for England and will be knackered.

    This could be because they haven't got him, but does anyone else agree that he might not start? I

    My wildcard is active and this the bunch i've put my faith in.....

    Westwood,
    Kompany, Enrique, Wilkinson, Jagielka,
    Bale, Nani, VDV, Silva,
    RVP, Dzeko

    Ruddy, Graham, Dyer, Simpson.

    Good old fashioned 4-4-2

    My only real concerns are VDV injury (any word yet?) and wether Rooney is going to start firing
    I could go Nani and Dzeko out for Roo and 6.7m (sess, walters etc...)

    any thoughts on this??

    So the 10 day storm has passed, and whilst I've seen worse times than this there have been some casualties over the international break. What's the concensus on here whether Agbonlahor is likely to play or not? The daily mail tells me McLeish is hopeful, but then again... that is the daily mail.

      How do you know Walters is better if you know nothing about drenthe?
      Why not find out a bit abut Drenthe then compare the two?

        Walters is playing OOP and on pens - That is all I know about either of them but gives Walters the advantage - Don't understand all the Drenthe love on here - thought I would ask - didn't realize it was a secret!

          It's not a secret. Drenthe has looked like Evertons main attacking threat in every game that I've either seen or seen highlights of. He also seems to have taken some set pieces on as well. Everton have better fixtures than Bolton and a double gameweek.

          I'm doing without Everton players till week 16 and have got Ramsey as my mid-budget mid.

      I think if you want a Utd striker, you need to spend the extra for Rooney - Hernandez and Welbeck are likely competing for the 1 spot up top with Rooney. Plus Rooney has pens, DFKs, gets assists, gets bonus without scoring and will only be dropped for rest or off-field shenanigans, never for tactical reasons.

          I see what you mean. If you can put up with the rotation, Hernandez will score well when he plays, but it will be frustrating when he misses, say, a home game v Wigan.

    Really cannot see him scoring well over the next weeks. I got him when he was cheap so if he drops over the next few weeks and Brown rises then ill be able to buy back for little value loss.
