With gameweek 12 now complete, it’s time to round up all the miscreants and take stock of the ramifications their offences will bring. We’ve already spoken of the 22 Saturday yellows in our previous review and after the addition of the Sunday and Monday games, that yellow card count ticked up to 29.

However, there were no further names joining Wigan’s Antolin Alcaraz, and the Saturday additions, Joey Barton, David Dunn, Stephen Hunt and Jamie O’Hara on the ban list for gameweek 13 (extending to GW14 in the case of the Wigan man).

Meanwhile, the population of the Suspension Tightrope was boosted tonight by a fourth yellow card for Villa’s reborn Bulgarian, Stiliyan Petrov. There are now up to 11 nervous souls on the tightrope, with Saturday’s new faces: Ryan Shawcross and Lee Cattermole, already making themselves uncomfortable on the high wire.

The final mention in the shake-up from gameweek 12 must go to the card happy pair of Steven N’Zonzi and Lucas Leiva. The Blackburn and Liverpool enforcers both picked up further yellows over the weekend. N’Zonzi’s in the bizarre 3-3 draw at Wigan, making that six in just 12 league appearances, with Lucas’ yellow in the win against Chelsea, his sixth in 13 games across league and cup this season. The pair now forge ahead together in the lead of the card β€˜race’, with a two-match ban; the prize if either (or both) of them makes it to 10 before the distant April 8 deadline.

        Aguero likely to score more, but he's priced accordingly - if you reckon you can use 2.5+ Million elsewhere to make up the shortfall in points, then you should go for the cheaper option.

        I guess he's unlikely to drop to 3.8m for a while though, same reason I'm not rushing to get rid of Given as it should be a while until he drops to 4.8.

          I think you should make it the priorty transfer or it will always get left. I know its no fun, but i think if the other player your taking out is a playing player, he can wait till the following week

    In the decent position of having 2 free transfers with no obvious change needing made. Looking to keep one to roll over again. 3 options are
    1) get rid of foster for a better rotating keeper with Vorm
    2) sort out Boyata
    3) swap Nani out

        cheers. Team is pretty much picking itself at the moment, so lucky enough to being able keep the free transfer rolling over for when it eventually turns. Boyata does need to go, will maybe look for someone that will be of use in 3 gw's as im pretty set for the next 2 at the back.

    Normally if you score two goals in a two nil win you are nailed on for three bonus – But I’m worried Bale will get the three, Ade should have had so much more last night, it is tough not to be greedy. Wasteful.

      I'm about 80% convinced Bale will get the 3 BPs. Ade had about 2 or 3 shots off target in the second half. He should have scored with one of them too (the one on one). Bale had a few on target in the second half and he looked really good.

      Modric should get the 1 BP. I thought he was brilliant last night. So was Parker I guess

    I just have this thing for players playing Wigan as they are awful! I pondered with Yakubu all week but decided against a 4 point hit last week, cue 13 points for him.
    I'm not all that impressed with Ramsey at the moment, i just think it's because he's cheap Arsenal coverage that i have him....!

      they almost always are. to be the highest scorer you need to have a lot of players with low ownership. otherwise it just means that everyone has done well and not just you

      Well I don't think he's expected to go up in price any time soon, so it's not worth doing it. That's when you do early transfers.

      It's okay, I did my first every early trade like 15 minutes after the Chelsea vs Arsenal game to get RVP in. It worked out!
