With gameweek 12 now complete, it’s time to round up all the miscreants and take stock of the ramifications their offences will bring. We’ve already spoken of the 22 Saturday yellows in our previous review and after the addition of the Sunday and Monday games, that yellow card count ticked up to 29.

However, there were no further names joining Wigan’s Antolin Alcaraz, and the Saturday additions, Joey Barton, David Dunn, Stephen Hunt and Jamie O’Hara on the ban list for gameweek 13 (extending to GW14 in the case of the Wigan man).

Meanwhile, the population of the Suspension Tightrope was boosted tonight by a fourth yellow card for Villa’s reborn Bulgarian, Stiliyan Petrov. There are now up to 11 nervous souls on the tightrope, with Saturday’s new faces: Ryan Shawcross and Lee Cattermole, already making themselves uncomfortable on the high wire.

The final mention in the shake-up from gameweek 12 must go to the card happy pair of Steven N’Zonzi and Lucas Leiva. The Blackburn and Liverpool enforcers both picked up further yellows over the weekend. N’Zonzi’s in the bizarre 3-3 draw at Wigan, making that six in just 12 league appearances, with Lucas’ yellow in the win against Chelsea, his sixth in 13 games across league and cup this season. The pair now forge ahead together in the lead of the card β€˜race’, with a two-match ban; the prize if either (or both) of them makes it to 10 before the distant April 8 deadline.

      I don't have Brown or Westwood yet but am thinking Westwood (to answer your previous question)

      My long term plan is

      Rooney, Bendtner, De Laet, Given out

      Adebayor, Ba, Baines, Westwood in.

      The problem is that already leaves me with 0.0m so chances are I won't be able to afford it in a few weeks.

                  Marseille are one point behind them in the UCL. Arsenal vs Dortmund will be crucial.

    Anyone watched Strike Back?

    I recorded it on Sky+ and stupidly watched the second series first (didn't realise the first series had already been on) and am currently 2 episodes from finishing the first series too.

    Really good programme, love it. Some nice cliff hangers, and lots of action. And naked ladies in the second series. What's not to like?

    Where can I find official PL stats on credited goals and assists etc. which updates quick?

    I know this site exists: http://www.premierleague.com/page/Statistics - but it is rather poor and the Tottenham game is still not updated and you can not see assists when you click on a player.

      Why not just use the official FPL site? If you click on each game all the relevant stats come up, and they are updated virtually as soon as they happen.

          When I look at official assists, A. Young has 5 assists, but in FPL he has 6, and Rooney officially has 2 assists, but 3 in FPL.

          This is because FPL gives an assist to whoever touched the ball outside the penalty area, even if the ball goes pinball crazy within the area.

      I can't see him starting as consistently as the rest. With the christmas season coming up, rotation is going to a problem for all the defenders. However, since United are short at the back because of injuries, I think Jones will be the least likely to be rotated. If you can afford him, I'd upgrade.

                    Dunno. I was very impressed with Bale last night. Spurs fixtures up to gw 21 are to good to ignore. Most will use the Jan WC to sort out their teams after gw 20 anyway, so one can just as well make the most of the Spurs fixtures up to then.

                    P-offed that Pig dropped by 0.1m. The way Wigan are playing I surely need Sun offensive cover? Bendy/Sezzgnon. Annyoingly 0.1m short of Holy Man -->Super Seb.

                    Roonpig has really become a problem. No goals or assists in 7 weeks. And its not as if we did not see it coming.
