I've got a real notion about the Liverpool/City game on Sunday. I reckon circumstances will allow Liverpool to replicate their seasons' current away form and that they will be well capable of scoring twice - as they have done in 4 of their 6 away games thus far (including against Arsenal & Chelsea). Unfortunately for them, City are unquestionably a better team and they should be able to edge it by doing what they've done in 5 of their 6 away games i.e. score 3 or more.

The 28/1 on offer at Ladbrokes for a 2-3 result looks too juicy to miss for me. A small saver for a 2-4 at a general 66/1 may be worthwhile insurance.

    Cue a 0-0!!

nice insight. I wonder whether high scoring games are a trend amongst these two teams when they play other big sides

i dont think liverpool or city are the kind of sides who'll allowe more then 2 goals
utd were a man down and just carried on attacking city which is y it was 6
arsenal were in a crisis and defensively are pathetic
      chelsea the same
so 2 2,maybe 3 2 is about as high as it can go imo

I'm looking at Liverpool HT/City FT at 25/1.

That way it would soften the blow.

    Boom Time:

    Ruddy

    Enrique/Taylor(Swansea)/Wilkinson

    Walters/Lampard/Mordic/Sessegnon

    Suarez/Persie/Aguero

    Woogdate (incase wilkinson doesn't play)/Simpson/Tiote

    Captain - Persie or Lampard

    QUESTIONS:

Will Lampard be roated? They have to win, if he rests him then he's an absolute silly manager

Persie? Good chance he could get rested?

    Whos best captain?

Also Modric is the weak link

Sessegnon and Walters offer points BIG TIME

Wilkinson and Taylor fofer clean sheets and Ruddy aswell, Enrique is there for his attacking benefits really

Aguero and Suarez, I predict a bit a score fest in this game so i have them both in just incase!

AVB is clueless Lampard in goal seeing as his fat, Torres in defence seeing as he can only kick balls away from goals.

Rvp will play 70 mins depending on the scorline.

      Modric wth ?!

      Captain : Rvp.

It just eliminates the draw/tie so there has to be a result. If football it's usually associated with asain handicap betting.

In this case Miami have to not lose by more than 7 points for me to win and there must be under 45 points in the match.

                    lets say u have Dallas - 3.5
and it finishes Dallas winning by 3, you lose
if it ends up dallas winning by 4 points or more you win
it basically means there cant be a tie

Getting rid of Silva is stupid as City can score big against anyone.

You could do Kompany->Santos for a big differential.

It is a good move but leaves you exposed to everyone else who has Silva. He is a class player who you will want back at some stage so be sure to have the ability to get him back in as required.

Disclaimer: I have both Silva and Nani in my team

Yeah I have the cash if needed. I will sell Given. But I have 4 weeks to play without him. The fact that a lot of the lads have him is advantage. Him scoring blanks will be great for my team, Also he is currently on negative NTI and imagine he draw a blank against Liv, which is possible IMO, I rate Liv defense especially if Carra isn't playing and then he gets cameo appearance against Nor, that means he could fall in price even, Nani double figures could make him rise again. THat the masses will do. So I guess 0.3 lost at most even less. Imagine what that 0.3 will do in the rankings and in points. I believe its time for CIty to feel the pressure and to loose some points.

Simply put, I think if Nani plays he will perform well, but I don't see enough Utd goals to justify a 10m outlay. Don't forget Newc are a stingy defence.

If your getting two better than average players for Silva, it might be worth it, but silva to nani is pointless, cos in the long run Silva will outscore Nani. But looking at the fixtures it might just work out well short-term 😀

I had been planning on Kompany to Vidic. Get me some Man U cover as I don't think Jones will start this weekend. How do we rate Santos prospect for the next three? Sounds like he might be worth a punt but my Kolarov sense is tingling.

Am I insane or does benching silva/richards sound like a good idea this weekend?

    Vorm (Krul)
Enrique Jones Assou Ekotto, (R Taylor Richards)
    Nani, Walters, Bale, Ramsey (Silva)
    Morison Adebayor RVP(c)

I genuinely cant pick a starting 11 and need a general consensus to help me decide.

Morison is home to QPR and has scored in his last 4 outings - difficult to argue against it really when Ramsey is playing the pass before the assist and not getting many points - though I do feel like his luck is about to change...

He played against Napoli, they have arsenal on Tuesday and Liverpool have conceded the least amount in the league so far, we've let some soft goals in but really its been a solid defence, just feel like it might be ramseys day and if Silva plays he'll either leave with 2 points or 1 (as a sub)...

Ive got my team into a strong position finally and the trouble is now with who to bench, this management job is tough, at least I haven't got to make sure my players dont go drink driving or swinging golf clubs at anyone personally...

The truth is, everyone in my league will play silva regardless for his form so do I play him and if I lose points not worry as everyone else will or take it as an opportunity to gain on people if Ramsey delivers the goods,

I'm 100% liverpool will score so richards is on my bench for now too, but so far this season whenever he's delivered attacking points its been 2 games on the trot..

I am considering taking an 8 point hit...

    Vorm (Habsi)
    Enrique Wilkinson Jones (RTaylor)
    Silva VDV Ramsey Pilkington (Brunt)
    RVP Suarez Adebayor

I would like to drop Suarez and Ramsey...great players-not converting
    Which sounds better?

    A) Sturridge for Saurez Bale for Ramsey Walters for Brunt
    B) Hernandez for Suarez Walters for Ramsey Sessegnon for Brunt
    C) Sturridge for Suarez Bale for Ramsey Sessegnon for Brunt
    D) Klasnic for Saurez and similar mid. choices.

    Please advise! Thanks!

But really after everyone was saying how united are struggling, I was really happy with the game with Benfica, they could have had many more goals and the conceded ones were unlucky. With Vidic in the back and midfielders up and running. I think they can really kick into form.

Me too man, right near the bottom of the stretford end, love the view from their. I'm gonna go for 3-1 man u, think newcastle will be stern at the back at first but then open up for us, hope rooney plays.

it was indeed :). Hope the atmosphere is good for you, has been a little flat of late. Have a feeling he will play Jones alongside Vidic. I hope Ando plays if fit, there's nothing funnier than watching him when we have a fk close to goal.

it came out on Tuesday v Benfica briefly, think it'll get an airing. If you're about near OT before the game pay a visit to the Trafford, absolutely mad in there, but it's a non-stop sing song.

Finally time to bite the bullet and give Rooney the chop?

    1 x FT - $0.00 cash

    Vorm Krul
Enrique Jones Shawcross Simpson Da Laet
Silva Van Der Vaart Ramsay Sessegnon N.Dyer
    Rooney RVP Agbonlahor

Rooney to Adebayor - free up 3.3m

Should the extra cash be saved or spent (4pt hit for another transfer)

    Thoughts appreciated

I`ve got Rooney since GW1, and I`m regret that I didn`t sell him when he was at 12.5. If I`m selling now I lose 0.1 so I`m keeping as a principle. Or else I definitely would do Rooney -> Hernandez

I'd been thinking about using the cash from Rooney > Adebayor to get Gabby > Hernandez done
But think Gabby might be good for another week, or at least till he receives another yellow - his 5th

De Laet has been bench fodder for much of the season...haven't had to call on his services, his 0.1 price drop hurts though. Was actually planning to hold until the Jan wildcard

Before you dump anyone, I suggest you work out who of your front eight will be benched for each of the next three or four weeks at least. It looks very strong and the danger is you end up asking which of an undroppable front 8 you bench every week.

I've got theotherguy in the cup. If you think I'm scared, you should see theotherguy! Or something.

FPL? Done my transfer early. Keeper switch. Rest of team near perfect...

More intriguing for me this week is what to do in Metro and in TFF. Stick or twist on Bosingwa and Rooney in both. Might drop Hangeland and/or Given in TFF. If so Jones, Richards, Enrique..? Hoilett looks promising in Metro - classified as a midfielder.
