      Is that Kieran Richardson? Hasn't he been playing as a LB for Sunderland?

      If so I'd just play Dyer

      you went for Richardson....hats off to you sir. I havent the balls to get him, but I have a sneaky suspicion he is going to score big over the next few weeks if hismove up front happens. He has a good track record of scoring when asked to be more attacking by Bruce.

    A: VDV -> Bale

    or

    B: Kompany -> Baines & Agbo - Yaks

      how are you gonna swap a mid for a striker???? If you want to spend that amount of money on a defender get Vidic. As for a striker, Aggy out for Yak might work, but so could Helgs.

    I haven't hesitated over a transfer for several gameweeks.

    Plea for help!?

    Suarez & VDV > Rooney & Bale (-4pt) - Yay or Nay?

    Pros: Rooney good fixtures and a target anyway, Bale dead cert starter + 90 mins guaranteed unlike VDV
    Cons: Have a good feeling for Suarez over next few weeks, loss of value on VDV, -4pts.

    Team is:

    Begovic (Hennessey)
    Turner/Walker/ShawX (JE / Simpson)
    VDV/Silva/Ramsey/Walters (Rodwell)
    Suarez/Sturridge/RVP(c)

    Thanks

      Unsure, VDV may play and youll want him next week. Suarez at home probably has as much chance of scoring as Rooney v Newcastle. Save a transfer for next week, when youll need a Man Ciyt striker vs Norwich

        Thanks for the tip.

        Take your point about Man City v Norwich but to date I've been quite successful despite avoiding City altogether (with the exception of Silva). A lot of unreliability and keeping on top of who is likely to play & deliver is proving difficult, to date I've found it's better to stick with known returnees (RVP, VDV, and initially Rooney).

        Can see that changing if they exit Champs Lge.

    Think i will do VDV to Bale

    Reasons

    1) VDVs hammy , will be a recurring theme , which would be last thing you would want in a double gameweek

    2)Bale Cheaper

    3) Price wise Bale will be continuing to go up while VDVs price will stagnate at best

    4) With other managers talking about rotation , dont want to be left short this week , or having to play the likes of Ward

      The double gameweek is still some weeks away, so that shouldnt be too much of a concern right now. Its a sideways move, since either can have a high scoring week. I actually have both at the moment, could you be able to do that?

    Lost in last post:

    It's so difficult to make it through a week without a transfer. I decided a couple of weeks ago not to make a transfer GW13 to build up to 2 frees. Nothing happened to change that and I was set on sticking to this earlier in the week. Now I'm considering so many options! Team is

    Vorm (Krul)
    Jones, Walker, Naylor (Enrique, Saylor)
    Silva, VDV, Mata, Ramsey (Dyer)
    RVP (c), Ade, Bendy

    £1.7m in bank. Do I:

    a) stick to my plan
    b) VDV to Lampard
    c) VDV to Bale, Saylor to Baines
    d) Ramsey to ???
    e) Jones to Baines

    VDV, Bale, Dyer, Silva, Watson
    Agbon, Suarez, RVP (C)

    Was thinking
    A) Watson->Pilkington/Allen
    B) Agbon->Bendtner (assuming he is just missing from the FFS watchlist, he should be good for the next few GWs)
    C) Agbon ->Hoilett

    Ok lads and lasses am in need of a mid at 4.7-4.8 to replace Tiote with, I have Allen, so am veering away from B Johnson as he doesn’t rotate well, but the only options seem to be Wigan players and the only one on there is the Holy One, and I’m not picking him EVER AGAIN.

        Not really as I want someone who's at home when Swans are away, Johnson would be pref to Dyer, plus only way I could get Dyer is to go below 4 mil on a defender right now, that only leaves Caulker, so Vorm, Caulker and Allen makes Dyer impossible anyway.

          So tough, can't help but think Baines hasn't quite hit form yet, or enough to warrant the ~7.8 price tag. I think as it's for a 4 point hit i'd wait till next week to see how Baines does this weekend. He scored a penalty last week remember, not a free kick that may signify a return to some form

    Opinions on the following:
    Out - Augero (away to liverpool, fixtures and rotation are worrying), Ramsey (ave. 3pts over last 4 wks)
    In - Walcott and Gervinho (main supply to RVP, resonable fixtures)
    It's for a 4pt hit

        Beslowboy, lazybones18 and Manani thanks for that. All three appear to be along the same lines. Ramsey is my first sub, so I think i'll keep. Have Silva, Drente, Bale, VDV, RVP (c) Augero and Sturridge as my front 7, so happy with that. prob try for walcott next week at the expense of Sturridge. Good luck tomorrow

            I know, i'll do a double transfer and use the cash from sturridge to go with the ramsey cash, and buy a very very cheap 3rd choice striker

    sick of danny simpson, if he had just signed his contract he'd still be starting, now we're probably going to get rotation in that position - I wish he would swap to santon and stick with it.

        Pardew was saying yesterday with Danny Simpson holding out on contract, that santon may get the start as he's dying to play, and Pardew said Simpson wouold want to sign a contract to secure his future. So now a rotation doubt. Fully was originally R. Taylor under pressure when Santon signed.

          either way if Santon starts he becomes a cheaper alternative to Raylor, he's better than Simpson anyway (Santon that is)

      does it matter ?

      he is still #1 captain choice and YES you need to bring him in if you dont have him

      he played 25 minutes once and score 2 goals

          ofcourse i have him...but i was asking about captaining him. vdv is also doubtful. I have nani and silva but they have difficult matches and are not in best form

    anyone know why Sean Maloney doesn't play for Wigan? With the possible exceptions of Watson and Diame, he's better than anything else they have.

    Thoughts please?

    Begovic Hennessey
    Evans Jagielka R Taylor Walker Enrique
    Silva Nani Drenthe Walters Dyer
    Rooney Agbonlahor Adebayor

    Selling Rooney, Begovic and Hennessey to make it possible to get Van Persie and changing keepers to Vorm and Ruddy.....its a 4 point hit.

    Is this worth it? Or would anyone advise differently?

    Right guys, I think this is it. Saving my transfer for next week...

    Westwood
    Naylor/Richards/Jones
    VDV/Silva/Walters(vc)/Eagles
    RVP/Aguero/Bendtner(c)

    Vorm/Brunt/Wilko/Macauley

    Taking a BIG risk with my (c) this week!!

      HuttonDAL that's a massive gamble on capt. He hasn't been on massive form really, RVP does though. But it's a differential gamble which could pay off. Good team otherwise

      Just don't do it. What on earth has Bendtner ever done to justify captaining him. You have Aguero and Rooney who are capable of hat tricks against almost any side and choose to captain Bendtner? Sure Bendtner may score but one goal max. Don't do it.
