Gameweek 13 gets off to a somewhat underwhelming start, as two of the Premier League’s worst form sides do battle. Coming in to the game on the back of four straight defeats, Stoke City host a Blackburn Rovers side with only one win to their name this season.

On the otherhand, we could be about to witness another end-to-end classic between two sides desperate for points. Blackburn showed last week that they will stop at nothing to get a result, even if that means Morten Gamst Pederson has to take a corner to himself or Paul Robinson has to go up and headbutt an opponent’s boot. Either way, the Dugout Discussion is open, and the team news is in…

Stoke XI: Sorensen, Wilkinson, Shawcross, Huth, Wilson, Pennant, Whelan, Delap, Etherington, Walters, Crouch.

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Lowe, Hanley, Dann, Givet, Rochina, Nzonzi, Pedersen, Hoilett, Formica, Yakubu.

Once again, Tony Pulis picks Thomas Sorensen ahead of Asmir Begovic in goal for the Potters. He also hands starts to Marc Wilson and Glenn Whelan, at the expense on Danny Higginbotham and Dean Whitehead.

Steve Kean is forced in to one change, with Mauro Formica coming in for the suspended David Dunn. Elsewhere, Jason Lowe replaces Michel Salgado.

After that we have six 3p.m. kick-offs, and the action concludes at tea-time with Arsenal Vs. Fulham.

Follow all today’s games in our Dugout Discussion chatroom.

Bah. I refuse to go down the whingeing about refs/lineman route as we had about a billion chances in the second half. Not sure how you think you deserve a point tbh (on first half maybe!). Some unbelievable saves and defending from your mob though, pardew certainly has them sweating bullets for each other.

Well fair play if I was you Id prob say the same. Last 10/15 mins I kind of expect the pressure but guess rationally I shouldnt! But yes first half we deserved it and guess Id say we set up well and defended well, but if you are on the other side it seems frustrating/lucky.

Ref decision for pen was wrong, but he was generally poor I think. You just arent as scary a prospect at home as used to be for me. Thought your changes were uninspiring and too late..you?

Pardew has a great ethic and team spirit atm yes, long may it cont. One striker in in Jan it seems and hopefully a def....

Rooney is not at his best and playing too deep, we're lacking creativity in midfield. Carrick played well, but tends to play from deeper, we need a true attacking midfielder.

It does not say much just Moyes commenting on Drenthe,
It's the bit where he says
"Royston has done okay. He's had some moments that have helped us and some moments that have worried us...."

It worries me that is for sure. But I can't be too annoyed cos with Drenthe out my third sub Ba comes on.

It's a good team. Would just sell Lampard as think he can't play with Mata and after today, Mata will be in

I feel ever so slightly bored watching RVP as my captain when 99% of people also have him.

Of the people on this site, the number must be 85% own him, and the same %age captained him..

Yeah I'd probably say the percentage on this site is about that. Although tbf of course 99% of people don't actually have him.

That would like me saying Bendner missed the goal by miles and people correcting me saying "No, he missed by 7 and a half inches". 😀

what does everyone think when they have a midfielder from a team where a lot of people have a defender ? I sort of find myself glad when the clean sheet disappears even though I lose a point in the process, as others lose more

e.g. Brown and you'd have Larsson - fair play yes.

Otherwise, no - 5pts are better than 0, even if others have doubled up.
