A hugely significant fixture in the capital tonight, sees Chelsea host league-leaders Manchester City in the final outing of Gameweek 15. The Dugout Discussion has swung it’s doors wide open, so come and and digest the emerging team news…

Chelsea XI: Cech, Bosingwa, Terry, Ivanovic, Cole, Romeu, Ramires, Meireles, Mata, Drogba, Sturridge.

Man City XI: Hart, Zabaleta, Clichy, Kompany, Lescott, Barry, Yaya Toure, Milner, Silva, Balotelli, Aguero.

The visitors line-up exactly as expected, with Mario Balotelli partnering Sergio Aguero upfront, and Pablo Zabaleta replaces the injured Micah Richards. It’s the home side who make a couple of changes from the game at Newcastle, with the free-roaming David Luiz banned and the once guaranteed-starter Frank Lampard dropped. Jose Bosingwa comes in, pushing Branislav Ivanovic infield, as does Raul Meireles, slotting into the midfield.

You can access the Dugout Discussion chatroom right here.

Theo and Gervinho could get some joy down the wings with Clichy, Richards and Kolarov out and supply RVP with the ammo. Yaya may also get banned retrospectively.

City back 4 will probably be something like this: Zabaleta----Kompany---Kolo----Lescott

    Okay need some advice. Front 8 is Pilk, Formica, Silva, Bale, Dyer, Aguero, RVP and Bayor. Considering a couple of things;

    A: Aguero/Pilk out for Mata/Ba 4pt hit
    B: Aguero to Drog/Sturridge
C:Aguero to Ba and save the 4,3million for later and get double United coverage after the next 2 gwks?
    D: Any suggestions?

    Westwood/Ruddy
    Enrique/Kompany/Simpson/Monk/BAE
    VDV/Nani/Larsson/Walters/Dyer
    RVP/Sturridge/Aguero

Got 2 free's. Want rid of Aguero for Ade/Ba but not sure what to do with my other one.

Worth downgrading VDV>Bale? Or i may need to get rid of Ruddy/Monk/Dyer. Can't decideeeee.

Before this game I was so against selling Silva. I still I am. I have not seen enough from Mata to warrant taking Silva out despite everyone in league having him. I got him at 9.6 so will be a pain in arse to get him back. I was also considering Ramires in for a hit for Drenthe but am not convinced it is worth it.

I may just have to have no Chelsea players for this Wigan game and hope I am not sorry afterwards?.

City's fixtures aren't great and they seem to be 2/3 days apart. He won't get as much minutes as you'd like. Mata at home has much more potential and he has fixtures on his side. I'm considering it, can always WC him back in come January.

There are thousands of us who have the GK combination of Vorm and Given. Let's face it, do we really need to get rid of Given considering Vorm has often produced large returns even when I've started Given in the past? Does anybody else think that getting rid of Given would be a waste of a treansfer at this stage considering the huge attacking returns that are being produced?

I wouldn't mind having a fit Shay Given in my team even though Villa's form this season has blatantly demonstrated how horribly inept they are at keeping expected clean sheets. Pretty much every time I've started him, he's returned 2 points or less. Now that he's injured, it really isn't going to harm my team, unless of course Guzan plays his way to the number one spot! If I was wildcarding, sure I'd take him out but really is there any point spending a transfer on taking a punt on another keeper that could easily not keep a CS for the entirity of Given's absence?

so will be back with yaya as MCI coverage (only)

and silva is against arsenal this GW.
btw, i will only loss 0.2m if i buy him back, so worth a punt?

cannot afford watching the wigan match and seeing mata doing all the crosses and not having him. gives me heart attack. already did in the last few GWs

Sturridge does the same job as Mata but is cheaper. I can see Sturridge outscoring Mata against Wigan and is 3m cheaper. It is a stupid sideways transfer. Yaya also plays fairly deep so isn't particularly ideal unless you are worried about rotation.

yaya always score/assist in big winning games,
MCI is playing AVI, Sun, Stoke

and also i think there will be quite alot of chance mata assisting sturridge/drogba.

    Howard vorm

    Baines Jones Enrique simpson shotton

rational is it purely based on fixtures until the next wildcard , yes i know it will cost me more to bring back VP but all the other risers will cover that

I don't like Cahill at all for 8.5. Not the biggest fan of Simpson either, think I'd rather have N Taylor for that money, although Newcastle might only be on a slight blip, who knows. And finally I think the RVP out transfer will bite you.

I thought the lack of away games experience has cost them massively. I mean, I don't think it's about the players capablitites, it's about the whole team experience. Losing away to Cityeh and Chelski would sound normal, but it's the Blackburn game in particular where they had a shocker. Still, they showed they can perform well away from home in few games as they drew to Liverpool, won at Norw and almost won at Wolves.
