It’s a tricky one as well this week, what with our usual favourites involved in unfavourable fixtures. Most weeks an automatic choice, Robin van Persie finds himself in unfamiliar territory in the Gameweek 16 Captain’s Poll. The likes of Demba Ba and Emmanuel Adebayor are leading the way, highlighting how pivotal the captaincy could be this week. Choose carefully.

  Really tough call that mate. Only player I'd consider would be Ben Arfa. If that doesn't float your boat save your transfer or play Moses who, despite the fixutre, probably has a better chance of points given that he'll be full of confidence from last week!

  depends on your rivals i would say. if not many have rooney, go for sturridge as he could prove to be a tidy differential as captain. if a lot of them do have rooney, i would put it on him just to be safe. sturridge will score well this weekend i think!

  I was in the same situation as you. Actually ended up trading Ruddy for Sorensen (4.3, playing Wolves away) and playing him this gameweek. Stoke has a decent run of fixtures coming up (except for Man City away) and I think we'll see a price rise for him going forward.

Why Wolves is a favourite against Stoke? Stoke won their last away match at Goodison. I think Wolves is much easier opponent especially when O'hara is out.
