The EA Sports Player Performance Index scores are out and the Fantasy Premier League have now updated their bonus points accordingly. Here’s how the bonus breaks down for gameweek sixteen, with more than a few surprises in store…

Aston Villa 0 Liverpool 2
Skrtel 3, Bellamy 2, Johnson 1

Man City 1 Arsenal 0
Silva 3, Balotelli 2, Zabaleta 1

Please note, the Aguero assist for Silva’s goal was removed following review. It was adjudged that the City striker did not get a touch on Balotelli’s cross but that the Arsenal defender diverted it into David Silva’s pass. The assists awarded to Mario Balotelli which boosted his EA PPI and saw him claim the two, relegating Pablo Zabaleta back down to one.

QPR 0 Man United 2
Carrick 3, Valencia 2, Rooney & Welbeck 1

Tottenham 1 Sunderland 0
Adebayor & Friedel 3, Van der Vaart 1

Blackburn 1 West Brom 2
Brunt 3, Morrison 2, Reid 1

Everton 1 Norwich 1
Osman 3, Holt 2, Martin 1

Fulham 2 Bolton 0
Ruiz 3, Dempsey 2, Murphy 1

Newcastle 0 Swansea 0
Williams & Santon 3, N Taylor 1

Wigan 1 Chelsea 1
Sturridge 3, Gomez 2, Cole & Figueroa 1

Wolves 1 Stoke 2
Etherington 3, Crouch 2, Hunt 1

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Shotton or Evans in for Brown guys?? just realised if i get Evans it will give me a sub headache..

    Vorm (Ruddy)

    Jones,Kompany,Jagielka (Simpson,Brown)
    Silva,VDV,Bale,Larsson(Allen)
    RVP,Ba,Sturridge

bloody tough call, do i bench evans away at fulham at least if i get Shotton or Santon (Newcastle) they would be played as a sub and Shotton being 4.0 gives me an extra .5 on top of my .5 already..

My season is going down the crapper pretty fast. Losing 5-6 pointso. The leaders each week - like a little paper cut each week.

Anyone like to suggest a transfer?

    Krul
    Baines Brown Evans
    Mata Silva Vdv OHara
    Ba RVP Sturridge

Baines is loosing you points and money! Almost anything is better. Mark my words, a 3.9 option like Caulker will bring in as much points as he will from now and to the end of the season.

Vermaelen the terminator is facing wonderful fixtures, might be a high-price candidate (who still is 1 mil less expensive). Another option might be Jones, with the OOP in his favour.

    Vorm / Kenny
    Evans / Enrique / Simpson / Naylor / Wilko
    Silva / VDV / Bale / Nani
    Ade / Ba(vc) / RVP(c)

    GW17 - No transfer
    GW18 - VDV + Ade > Rooney + Walters
    GW19 - No transfer
    GW20 - Rooney + Walters > VDV + Ade

Too crazy? Could be lovely with MU and Stokes nice Xmas fixtures. My only worry is no Chelsea coverage.

    How bad is Lennon's injury?

Thinking about Jags -> Calker and Dyer -> Lennon over the next few weeks.

What do you think? Is Drenthe or Ramsey a better option?

    Vorm
    Simpson - J Evans - Jones - Jagielka - Enrique
    Mata - Silva (vc)
    Sturridge - Adebayor - Van Persie (c)
    Given - Walters - B Johnson - Dyer

I’m other with 2 free’s and wondering what to do. Current team line up for this gw:

    Krul
    Enrique Simpson Jones Baines
    Silva (c) Nani Bale
    RVP(v) Ade Sturridge

    (Vorm, Walters, Naylor, Dyer)

    Considerations so far:
    Dyer > Moses/Gomez and/or...
    Walters > Drenthe

I like the look of drenthe, and brought him in a few weeks ago, so hopefully motes will play him. Io think a good chance bearing in mind everyone form. I debated Gomez/Moses also, though didn't do either.

Any thoughts on selection for week 17? What with rotation being a big risk I'm stuck with what to do. Have one transfer and 3.4 million in bank as switched suarez for sturridge for wk 16. Not sure whether to stick with the chelsea hitman or switch back. Problems with suarez court hearing and rotation being a factor with other members of squad has me in a pickle. Vorm, enrique, p.jones, Simpson, j.Allen, yaya toure, ash young, r.vdv, ba, aguero, sturridge. Subs w.brown, assou ekotto, d.etuhu

A few dilemmas regarding United. I currently have Young, Evans and Jones, but I'm considering making a switch from Young to either Rooney, Valencia or Hernandez. But here's what's bothering me:

    1. Could Rooney be pushed back to mids again, now that Hernandez is back and Fletcher is gone?
    2. Is Hernandez recovered and ready for 90 mins?
    3. Is Valencia a better pick than Young for the Christmas period?

If I do any of the changes other than Young --> Valencia, I'd have to take a 4 pt hit.

    Suggestions?

Rooney will defintely not be pushed back to midfield after his recent form. His goals are key to United winning matches. Jones is looking formidable in the middle, Carrick was excellent for once and Cleverley is coming back to fitness. Plus Park & Giggs haven't played alot so they will be further midfield options. Welbeck will share match time with Hernandez but Rooney is going nowhere.

Ashley Young is utter sh1te just now. Has been since that good start to the season. He is playing with zero confidence and I can only see him coming on in a wide position in the latter stages of matches. Valenica is back in business and will keep the right mid position

Don't think Rooney will be pushed back. He looks goal hungry now, Jones is covering nicely in the mid, Carrick has hit some form, and Clev is coming back soon. Tbh I'd sell RVP for Rooney, as I believe in that transfer myself but already have 3 utd players I see no reason for selling. And I'd change Young to Mata or VDV, and later use the spare cash to upgrade Ferguson to something that matters.

I'm thinking Ade to Rooney, Young to Valencia and Evans to Gallas, but I either have to do it over 2 GWs for a 4 pt hit or immediately for -8.

I'm not to keen on VDV right now considering his fitness, hamstring and the fact that he just might be pushed to Lennon's position.

      1) i think it depends on the fitness of the mids, with fletcher out long term, anderson out and cleverly out rooney could well drop back to give the midfield a bit of bite. things have gone better with rooney back up top the last few weeks though.
      2) yeah i think so
      3) yes, i think fergie likes him and his workrate, he always delivers. however i think there could be rotation throughout the busy xmas period with valencia, nani, giggs, young, park

same 3 up top, same dilema, i think i may keep ba for this gw then next week Ba > sturridge. ba has 2 away games then before the acon so no huge loss and sturrige has 2 nice home games vs fulham and villa

I have Ade RVP & Sturridge but obviously Rooney is what you want. But with good fixtures for Ade followed by a double GW and RVP against a horrible Villa side then home to Wolves & QPR he has to stay in. Sturridge is effective and cheap so to get Rooney in with RVP & Ade the rest of your team will need to be scaled down alot which I don't think I will do since I have Nani.

so everyone is jumping on the RVP captain bandwagon this week, but.....
no song or arteta + a very re-organised defence and walcott playing like a drain, against villa at home who will put 9 men behind the ball after this week
better alternative surely is Aguero at home against a Stoke side without Shawcross
Fulham defensively strong so Rooney not likely to get much.
    thoughts???

That's wierd... post got cut off, will repost:

Where do you guys think I could firm up my team at?

Vorm (Given) Yeah, I know he's out for a bit, but I'm not feeling the pressure to replace him JUST yet
Simpson, Richards, Barnett (Walker, Neil Taylor)
      Bale, Silva(V), Ramsey, Walters (Dyer)
      Ba, Adebayor, RVP(C)

Feeling pretty good about my front line, the backline seems like it has a good amount of coverage without splashing the pot on expensive defenders and forcing me either into a 4-4-2, 4-3-3, or benching a high-value defender each week. That leaves the mid. Was thinking of boosting up Ramsey to a more set-piece taking mid with Arteta. Really scratching my head here and may just use the transfer to swap Given out for Ruddy.

2.2 in the bank, and a FT

      Thoughts?
