      Is it free or for a hit? With Jones fit and Chelsea with two decent home games I wouldn't do it for a 4 pt hit, if you have 2 FTs then yep, it's not a bad move although very little in it. Personally I'd rather hold onto Jones, he's going to play and score more than Evans in the long term.

      Not a record, and not a great strategy either. Sometimes hits are beneficial. If you bring in 2 players and they score 10 more than the 2 you are taking out then you are still 6 points up even with a hit. No point having rules for these things, depends entirely on the situation - never understood how someone can be for or against hits without the context of any transfers.

    Studge is the obvious choice, but my main rival has him and I’m seeking a differential for up to 8.4 mil, and I plan on doing Ba – Studge next week anyway.

      VDV to valencia is not a great transfer imo. he's playing at RB now. also taking ba out is not a good idea. i would maybe bring in studge for yak and downgrade VDV to walcott if you can afford it?

        not taking Ba out until next week. as for Valencia at rb, may not happen. Rafael was on bench vs Fulham. Jones may play. Rio is also back for Blackburn so Smalling can go back to rb.

          Too much! Still time to bring in DGW players. Just do it the week before. Get Smalling or Evans in for next 2 and then replace with BAE.

          Also crazy to get rid of Verm with his next 2 fixtures. Again if you really want Baines, do it before the DGW!

                I was planning on wildcarding in GW24 - Spurs and Everton have fairly decent fixtures up to that, so wouldn't mind having a couple from each until then. Most of them would go in the wildcard. I'm swaying towards the 8 pointer!!

    Not sure why people are doubling up with him, unless you really need the cash.

    Swansea have:
    QPR SPURS Villa ARSENAL Sunderland CHELSEA

    As good as their home form is, I cannot see them keeping Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea out. The only top side they've faced at home this season is Man U and they lost.

    QPR, yeah can see a CS but that's only 1 GW. Their away games of Villa and Sunderland possibly sees 1 CS but I'm not convinced about that either.

      Thought I'd better join in but only part way through working it out. I don't believe he has got rid of the Yak(this is all predicated on him selling VDV-did he transfer after injury do we know?):

      1. End of last gw his value was 105.2m. It is now 105.3m a gain of 0.1m. If he had done nothing his team would have gone up 0.2m(Krul+Sturr+Moses-Bale).
      2. He's therefore lost 0.1m on his transfer.
      3. He bought VDV at above 9.9m so it's not him that has lost value on sale at it is below pp.
      4. he bought Yak at about 5.5m and he's now 5.8m so it's not him(it's not Sinclair either on same basis).
      5. Can't see him getting rid of any other mids or fwds so has to be a defender.

      I've not worked it out yet but my guess is he wanted Nani. Will get back to you!

    Team for this GW is -

    Vorm (Henn)
    Enrique/Evans/Walker (Jags/Simpson)
    Silva/Ramsey/Walters/Bale (Allen)
    RVP/Rooney/Ba

    Thinking of doing Silva -> Nani today as I have 0.2 in the bank and he is due to rise.

    Anyone think this is a bad idea? I know I need to get rid of Aaron and have some rotation risk but with A.Young out I don't want to miss out on Nani.

    So Jones likely to feature against Wigan on Boxing Day afterall. Well that changes things. Woke up this morning gutted i didnt do Jones & Suarez to Evans & Rooney due to price changes...not too bothered now. Jones is staying in the team 8)
