The decorations are up on the site, but normal service rolls on. The Team News section was fully populated in the last 24-hours and will continue to be updated today and even tomorrow, with any last minute scraps.

Yesterday’s big news concerned Phil Jones’ jaw, with the United’s Mr Versatile looking likely to take to the field when Wigan come visit Old Trafford. Elsewhere, Chelsea look set to be forced into a defensive shuffle, which may even see Jose Bosingwa or Paulo Ferreira alongside John Terry, if David Luiz fails to overcome his knee injury. We’re not quite sure which is the lesser of those potential evils.

Meanwhile, Man City have minor doubts over both Micah Richards and Edin Dzeko before their trip to the Hawthorns, with Adam Johnson having major doubts over his City future. Let’s hope the bench at West Brom is a comfortable one.

The Scout Picks will follow on this evening, with several articles scheduled to arrive between then and now. We’ll keep you informed on all the latest, via the tweets.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      A Berocca
      A spoonful of sugar
      A pinch of salt
      3 painkillers

I have two FT, I need to get Sturridge in. The way I can do this is as follows

    Holt > Sturridge

    R Taylor > J Evans

    Sinclair > Surman

-4 hit, 0.1 change is it worth doing this now.

    Cheers

    Current Full Team:

    Vorm, Krul

Jones Kompany Enrique R Taylor Brown

    Silva Drenthe Eagles Nani Sinclair

    Holt Ade RvP

You need to be upgrading your midfield, not downgrading it further IMO. Holt is a perfectly acceptable third striker.

If you want to ditch Sinclair, use the funds to upgrade Eagles (or vice versa).

    A. Sell Mata, Yakubu and Moses and buy Walter, Sturridge and Drenthe

If you really want Sturridge, Down Grade D. Maybe Richards?
Richards to Ekotto then Yak to Sturridge.

If you bought Silva @ 9.5 sold him today. Your would recieve 10.0. When you realize that he is the most consistant player in the game and want to bring him back, it will cost you 10.5 or higher. IMO he is untouchable until injured or maybe until GW 30somthing when your short term decisions out weigh the long term.

            Just my opinion.

If you're lucky, you get drawn against people that haven't touched their team since GW1. I think the prize is a digital camera - wow 😆

Normally gameweek 18 is the qualifying so ur score for the gameweek must be high enough for you to qualify then u will get drawn against an opponent.

I need advice for my team selection this GW

    A) play Baines - Walters and Sinclair benched
    B) play Walters - Baines and Sinclair benched
    C) play Sinclair - Baines and Walters benched

Walters and Sinclair seem to have better fixtures on paper, but will Baines have a good week???

    Please respond, Thanks!

This might be one of those weeks where you just have to grit your team and bench that shiny 7.8m defender you bought...

The problem with having Baines is that you really need to play him every week; but benching Walters and Sinclair looks unwise this week. Just leave Baines out.

Wouldn't double up on United defenders when you have strong options sitting on your bench, otherwise looking very nice.

Of course they are, they're playing Wigan.

But all it takes is one Jonny Evans "moment" and you just lost that CS, while having 2 perfectly good, strong alternative sitting on the bench.

If Caulker and Brown had bad matchups, it'd be a different story. But when they have just as good fixtures, doubling up on United is a risk you don't need to take.

I went for rooney based on stats and gut feeling. Rooney is taking on twice as many shots as RVP and United are way better than Arsenal right now. What worries me is that Wigan are playing half decent now. But since I am playing Average at my H2H, I can afford to take that risk.
