Arsene Wenger is giving little away regarding the likelihood of Robin Van Persie’s start against QPR. Meanwhile, Alex Ferguson prepares to patch up his defence once again ahead of the visit of Blackburn, with Chris Smalling set to miss out and Phil Jones in line to return.

There’s no such injury concerns for Roberto Mancini, who will surely be shuffling his pack like a demented Paul Daniels ahead of two matches in the space of six days. The rest of the Premier League managers are left to play with far more limited options, but Fantasy managers still look set to enter a gameweek of uncertainty – nervously scanning their bench to assess the reserves on standby.

All the team news ahead of tonight’s 7.30pm Fantasy Premier League deadline has been collected and collated over in our Team News section, along with our predicted lineups.

We will update this as we go, keeping you informed on the latest via our Twitter feed.

The Scout Picks are up next…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Modric is an interesting choice, as is Graham. Are you getting Bale or VDV in for next week? If so how are you going to fund it?

    Vorm. Ruddy
    Jones. Enrique. Wilkinson. Simpson. Mcauley
    VDV. Silva. Walters. Sinclair. Johnson
    Rooney. RVP. Ba

    2 FT’s and .3m in bank

VDV to bale? I’ve had Silva since the start, so I’ll lose loads of value if I sell him

surely doing 3 transfers in your first option would cause you a hit too, or are you planning 1 transfer after tonight's deadline? And transferring 4 players to 3 in your 2nd option doesn't seem like a great idea lol.

Despite the above, I think I prefer your first option, taking hits for dgw seems a bit counter-productive in my eyes.

    Van Persie Vs Nani

This has been one of my toughest choices of the season thus far. And I really don't know who to (C)

The most annoying thing with both of them is the fact that they are both likely to come on, even if benched,

Van Persie less so, if Arsenal are doing well, but Nani could come on al a rooney last week when 3/4-0 up.

For that reason only, I am captaining RVP, either could easily be benched, and imo, park might play on the right with Valencia, as MGP will offer much more of a threat down Blackburn's left than whoever was playing there for Wigan last week. This could mean Nani playing on the left, or alternatively on the bench. And even if Rafael plays RB, I cannot see Nani playing RM, would have to be Park, or Valencia. Giggs played 63 minutes last week too (Same as Nani). Newcastle away is up next for United, and then the city game in the FA cup, surely SAF needs Nani for them two, so will rest him this GW. Woop, decided now COME ON RVP.

Ok this got lost in my previous question.

If you had Evans and Moses which one would you start (regardless of injury)

Alternatively would you start Shawx or Evans?

The harsh fact is that if he starts, it portrays how badly the striker situation at AFC is and daming on Wenger himself. He SHOULDN'T start.

I'm saying that if Chamakh wasn't the worst player in the Premier League, RvP would be watching the match at home.
I have no idea but I don't think he'll start.

But if he's not trusted to start a home game , agaisnt QPR, in the height of the Xmas schedule, then he should be promptly put down.
Awful management that he's still at my club.

Without a doubt, he will plaay vs QPR IMO. Maybe fulham on 2nd jan. Wont features vs Leeds in FA Cup on 9th. 13 days of rest and all will be dandy for him to play vs Swansea on 15th Jan.

    My defence is
    Jones, Enrique, Shotton, (Boyata, JEvans)

My question is can I get away with JEvans sitting on my bench untill he is back from his injury as any change I make will have to be for a hit

    Cheers

think rvp will play some part tomorrow whether starting or from the bench. where else will their goals come from?

think nani will play tomorrow as united have several injuries plus he only played 63 min last time so recond he'd be a good candidate. however united have a higher chance of scoring without him involved, like last week. what are the odds of that happening again?
