As the made-up words of Auld Lang Syne drift off into the night, here at the Scout, we’d like to wish all our visitors a happy New Year!

Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to enjoy another superb twelve months. The new server setup that keeps us running on deadline day, the redesign, the Premier League columns – it’s been a fantastic year of progress once again.

We’re not quite sure what 2012 will have in store – although I am sure that we’re going to go on delivering the best Fantasy Football resource we can.

Plans are being hatched, progress already made behind the scenes. Ed our genius technical director is already playing with new toys. Pure Olivia is also working on new stuff and Sir Paulos is, as we speak, learning some new words. Commercial man Chris meanwhile, is finding some new pop-up adverts to annoy you all. It’s going to a big 2012!

A massive thanks goes to those guys and all the Scout contributors past and present – Granville, Andy, Akers, Greek Fan, Big Dunc, John, Money Mike, Anorak, Ryan Da Beeeez, Karl and Greg.

    Just checked - in Jan 2010 he started his first game (5th Jan) but he came off after 69 minutes. Did get a goal and an assist vs Arsenal.

Nani was way too casual last night. He has that habit of being arrogant and complacent sometimes when United are on a good winning spree. There was just no determination and commitment.

      Tricky, you've a good team so it's difficult to see how to bring in DGWers without losing players you wanna keep.
      
      I'd be more inclined to go for BAE than Baines (better fixtures, better team, much better value), so if you can afford to just do JEvans (He's injured and you have better MUN defensive coverage in P Jones) -> BAE then I'd do that. If not, perhaps JEvans & Walters -> BAE & Drenthe?

baps prediction for rvp...he had many shots off target but he still scored the winning goal and had many successful dribbles...this should weigh more IMO. what do u guys think?
