Alan Pardew has confirmed that Senegalese pair Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse will miss out on Newcastle’s trip to Blackburn tomorrow evening. The Magpies boss expects the duo to arrive back at the club on Thursday now, with both likely to line up against Villa on Sunday instead.

Anders Lindegaard is a doubt for Manchester United; under fire David De Gea could be set to continue between the sticks. Paul Lambert could welcome back a couple of long-term injury absentees, while Sunderland’s on-loan signing Wayne Bridge is available for the Canaries showdown.

John Terry, Frank Lampard, Mikel and Ramires are all absent for Chelsea. Marc Albrighton and James Collins have been ruled out for Villa, though Charles N’Zogbia returns from a heel problem. Elsewhere, a host of clubs could welcome new players into the fold as the transfer window draws closer.

      Dunno about Newcastle keeping many cleanies in the midterm, considering they're missing Tiote and Cabaye from midfield. Moses on the other hand is brilliant value, considering his next 8 or so fixtures.

    Afternoon chaps. I was going to play Krul (away to Blackburn) rather than Vorm - but with a weakened Newcastle midfield i'm thinking Super Vorm, at home and against a weakened Chelsea, might be a better bet.

    At the moment I'm starting Richards, Skrtel and BAE.

    However, I'm worried Pool could concede away to Wolves, and Swansea at home facing Chelsea (without Terry, Lampard, Ramires, etc) could get a very sneaky clean sheet.

    so, Zamora going to QPR, looks like Pogbrenyak and maybe Barrios on way in that case. Also looks bad for Helgs if he joins alongside Cisse.. But so far no signings have made me think I must have him. If Samba or Pienaar get moves they may come onto the radar.

    How many bloody forwards do QPR want.
    Zamora and Cisse in today. They'll fit nicely on the pile with Mackie, Helguson, DJ Campbell, Macheda, Smith, Bothroyd etc.
    It's good to see Mark Hughes has learned his lesson from his days at City when he had Adebayor, Robinho, Tevez, Santa-Cruz, Benjani, Sturridge, Bellamy and i'm probably forgetting a few.
