Just a final reminder that we launched the second free Fantasy Football Scout cup competition of the season this earlier this week. Gameweek 24 is the qualifying round for this Members-only tournament, with the top scoring 512 managers progressing to the first round proper.

There are prizes for the top three places in the Members Paddy Power Cup II, and you can enter via our form right here. You should receive email confirmation of your entry once submitted, but you can also check that your entry has been successful via this list. If you have any issues with your entry, please email me at akers@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

Good luck to those who enter. We will post full details of the qualifiers once the gameweek ends on Tuesday, with the first round draw following later next week.

        Cheers. Not usually a big fan of doubling and tripling on defences but my ML leader has been tripling up on toon defence and it's been killing me. Splitting it up between toon and city seems to be a good compromise and a splitting of risk.

    I think ppl have misquoted Wenger Resting RVP.. in the press conference he said he's gonna change his team due to the bad results of late.. surely that means underperformin players like ramsey and walcott are at risk.. and it defo means RVP startin..     Shawcross vs Huth... discuss.

    The plan is to have one of them for the next 4 GWs before being shipped out for the likes of Evans.

    Now, Shawcross has a better home points record than Huth and is cheaper. Huth hasn't scored, nor assisted any goal at the Britannia this season.

    So the question is, why not ShawX over Huth for their 3 home games, thus saving some cash? Huth is scoring better than ShawX away from home.

      The Dempsey vs Sunderland player seems to be a big question. One I'm facing too. Here's my take on it.

      Both have tough away fixtures. Both (doesnt matter whether we're talking Sess or McClean for the Sunderland player) have been in great form.

      I'd say if youve got a Stoke or Man City defender, you'd bench the player against them... maximise your upside. So if you're playing Kompany, bench Dempsey.

      Other factor is your minileague rivals. For example, all of my rivals have Dempsey, none have Sess/McClean. So its far safer, as Im leading, for me to play Dempsey... even though by my defender point above I should be playing Sess. In short. I havent the foggiest. I'd probably lean on Dempsey over McClean though.

      And I'd play Evans over Caulker.

      QPR conceded 2 goals vs Villa without Agbonlahor.
      i dont usually hope so much for attacking threat from a def, just need someone can keep actually keep CS.

      QPR have easy fixtures, but those games can go crazy with a ton of goals between them. I'd rather invest in their attack wuth good fixtures

    Aguero, Ba, RvP is definately my frontline on my WC.
