Stephane Sessegnon produced again in Wednesday’s thrashing of Norwich, just as he did against Swansea in Gameweek 22. It was the goal and an assist returns from that that game that came in for us at 5/1 last time out, fuelling our efforts for this week’s Fantasy Flutter.

Sergio Aguero was amongst the City side frustrated by the Goodison rearguard on Tuesday, but we perhaps shouldn’t read too much into another blank from the Argentinian. As a rule, Aguero saves his goals for home matches and with three in four Gameweeks to come, Fantasy managers are preparing for increased profits. Those could start flowing against Fulham this weekend. Paddy post a confident yet short 4/5 on Aguero to score and City to win against Martin Jol’s side, however, 21/10 on a brace for £5 offers just a little more reward for our risk.

Robert Huth was a monster last season, converting six goals, a tally which made him a hot Fantasy property and led to a significant price rise going into this term. Huth has found it difficult to live up to that reputation, however, with goals hard to come by, despite posing a significant threat in recent weeks. Paddy are offering 14/1 on the big German to deliver a goal and Stoke to keep Sunderland out at the Britannia – that’s worth a cheeky quid of our money.

Victor Moses was squeezed out of the Scout Picks this week, but, as today’s Watchlist article reveals, the fixture list offers hope that the Latics man will start to turn his potential into points over the next few weeks. Despite Everton holding firm against Roberto Mancini’s league leaders at bay in midweek, the Latics are fighting for survival and with Hugo Rodallega set to return to offer a sharper cutting edge, Moses and Wigan could be good for a goal or two. Paddy aren’t so sure and have been generous here, offering 8/1 on a Moses goal and Wigan to win, with a Moses goal and assist double at 18/1. As the anytime odds for Moses are rarely better than 7/2 across the board, 8/1 for £2 is a no brainer.

Our triple treat – the “who’s score the most goals” special is back on the menu this week with the Scout Picks forward line – Robin Van Persie, Aguero and Demba Ba all vying for our cash. Rather than a quick quip or analytical snippet as per usual, Demba Ba’s return to Newcastle’s line-up and a price of 11/2 requires little justification. Our last two quid is in the hands of the returning Magpies hat-trick hero.

Money Back Special

Paddy have focused on the two big encounters for their Money Back Specials this week. Down at Stamford Bridge, if a penalty is scored in the match between Chelsea and United, Paddy Power will refund all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast singles. Over at Anfield meanwhile, if Gareth Bale scores anytime for Spurs, Paddy will again refund all losing first/last goalscorer, correct score and scorecast single on the game.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to this betting lark and new to Paddy Power then you can take up any of these odds and offers and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Guessing you missed the reply button again there 😉

Simpson Richards Huth Caulker Kelly (1st 3 playing)

I'm playing Sess (against Huth) so it would maybe make sense to drop Sess instead but I'm not overly worried by my players playing against each other. It's like spreading your bets

hey fellas, have 1 point lead in the league. think this team can build on that??

    vorm/mignolet
koscielny, richards, R Taylor (enrique, kelly)
    sess, bale, valencia, demps (moses)
    rvp (c), ba, aguero
    1.2 in the bank.

only headache is goalie choice. both swansea and sunderland away and can keep cleanies.
think im gonna stick with vorm, even though mignolet has form.

you know, I've been extremely busy this week so I'm not completely up to date on everything, but I think he will start. There's no one that can take his place, unless it's Adam Johnson or Nasri and I highly doubt that. I haven't heard about any injury, and tevez certainly won't play so I would count on Dzeko starting.

I have 2 Fulham defenders in my team that I have played in the last 2 home games, no clean sheet so far

I now have 3 man city attackers with Aguero captain and my Fulham defenders are on the bench, so get ready for a 1-0 win for Fulham with Senderos scoring

Not sure about Sagna. Verm I can see the appeal but Arse dont keep enough cleanies and Sagna doesnt assist or score enough to make it worth a gamble.

Evans also hasa very poor short term fixture list so I'd wait before transfering him in (which is what I have done)

      Otherwise a decent looking team

Thanks Gaffer. I could afford Verm instead so may do that. Just trying to be a bit different with Sagna I guess! Already have Evans so am fine with benching him for his tougher fixtures.

I'd be looking at losing BAE & Ade from that team. Studge would also be someone I'd have to think about too.

You have 2x Shawx too. Not sure if thats a good or bad thing TBH 🙂

      Otherwise a solid team

Agree with getting rid of BAE and Ade. Lots of options in replacements such as Taiwo, Clark, bardsley, Cisse, Ba, Zamora, Dzeko.. list goes on.

Stat: Fulham have scored only 7(seven) away goals, Man City have conceded just 6(six) all season at home...just throwing it out there 🙂 They were wobbling a little but Kompany back makes a massive difference.

        Newman! No spot/money.

I'm willing to risk it & keep Sess for 2 more weeks in this form. Also, I don't want to go against my policy of "never drop a player who scored for you last week"

Btw, do you think I should go Dj. Cisse instead of Ba?
        1) We don't know how Ba will shape out. Could possibly play only 60 mins if he starts.
        2) Weather forecast for Newcastle looks bad, which means it'll be difficult to score. Then, he'd have Tot (A), where you wouldn't expect him to do too much.

Considering delaying the return of Ba for 2 more weeks. Thoughts?

Wasn't that poor? i though he done well at Liverpool before that bad injury and also played on the wing alot of times afterwards, and done decent at Sunderland too? Average a goal around every 3.3 games at both clubs.

So two to one for Zamora.
I think that's the way I'm headed too.
The stats tell me that Zamora is in better form recently than Cisse, but it's a close call.
