Does anyone think that shotton might get decent game time the next 2weeks with delap suspended? Stoke are yet to start a home league game without one of them playing. Guessing its not as important to pulis away from home where he cannot control factors such as how narrow he makes the pitch and how much space there is for a run up. However at home he seems to deem this as a vital weapon. Anyone was feel sure he will find a way to include shotton at either right back in front of Wilkinson or right midfield for Jerome (putting walters back up front?).

Kobenhavn (Milanista – Rank: 12,405)
The 4th seed for the whole tournament, Milanista is having a wonderful season. He enjoyed a meteoric rise from outside the top 1 million in GW4 to inside the top 10k in GW13. He stayed there until last gameweek when he fell to 12k odds. With a surprising team value of 111.3m we have a real contender on our hands here but last year’s rank which was circa 90k does put some perspective on any title hopes.
Key differential = Juan Mata, with some very forgiving fixtures in front of him shall need to do all he can to turn around AVB’s failing outfit. Milanista will certainly be hoping he does so.

Standard Liege (Duffman91 – Rank: 90,173)
Hovering around the 100k mark since GW9, Duffman has been mixing with the more serious players for quite some time now but has enjoyed little success in separating himself from the pack. He’ll be hoping for a good cup run and a strong finish to the season.
Key differential = Duffman will be hoping that Alan Pardew immediately reinstates Ryan Taylor into the Newcastle midfield and has some impact both from his set pieces as well as at the back.

Hannover (Sarnab-Wazzagoal – Rank: 173,691)
As late as GW16 Sarnab was still slumming it around the 1 million mark. In just 9 gameweeks though, he has transformed his season and now sits inside the top 200k. With only 3 transfer hits all season his conservative approach is slowly bearing fruit. He’ll be hoping to take this extraordinary form into the tournament.
Key differential = Sigurdsson seems to be Sarnab’s main tool to battle the template teams so prevalent in this glorious competition.

Vorskla (transferaddict – Rank: 527,039)
This crazy guy is a loose cannon and certainly lives up to his username. I thought chazza from Group A was a little “transfer happy” until I caught sight of transferaddict’s 24pt hit in GW16. However even that is overshadowed by his even more absurd 36pt hit in GW10! His rank seems to be deserved as such but he hasn’t taken a hit in 7 gameweeks so perhaps his mindset has changed and he may upset a few in this group. The hustle is on.
Key differential = Probably Edin Dzeko but let’s be honest, this manager can have any differential he wants because he will certainly not be frightened of taking a hit.

Top seed in Group I and clear favourite for top spot come the end of the group stages goes to JKisthe1,
with only a Gameweek 5 low of an overall placing out of the top 100 000 all season JK has a consistency
many fellow posters would envy. A Gameweek 25 transfer of Valencia to Sigurdsson was clearly well timed and repairs some of the luck lost with Cisse's recent sending off and subsequent ban. All which points to a shrewd manager with an eye for a bargain, but more pertinent to other Group I managers, an eye on the future with certain asperations of a top 10000 finish. With a pleatheror of attacking options no one could argue with any fpl manager will have to have his team in tip top condition and any possible hits in mind if they are to beat this Manchester United and Athletico Madrid loving fpl manager.

With an overall rank of just outside the top 100000 Escape from Alcatraz comes to the table with a clear aim of improving his finishing rank far in access of his opening 2010/11 finishing position. A strong squad, a killer front line with the 'Mark' pleasing Moses in his midfield to balance things out Escape from Alcatraz will make a worthy adversary over the coming weeks and with 1 free transfer for the upcoming Gameweek he will have a tricky decision about what to do with the United formster Valencia after he was ruled out for a month midweek, with hits rarely seen this season a choice of holding off with a transfer for further gain next week or a decisive transfer to strengthen an already strong squad Escape from Alcatraz goes into the opening fixture in Group I with every chance of taking the number 1 spot come the end of the group stages.

With a ranking as low as 1.9 million in the world in Gameweek 11 he has managed to claw his way back up to just inside the top 700000 and would dearly wish to beat his opening 2009/10 season score of 462000.....although having played that season entirely without Manchester United and Chelsea players, this would perhaps be something of a false victory considering a 2010/11 finish of inside the top 7000. A strong showing from Manchester City a cheeky doubling up of Fulham and 3 Newcastle defenders and a differential of Oxlade-Chamberlain in midfield with two transfers already made for the next Gameweek make rebeldog777 ready to play the underdog in Group I

Would appreciate some advice - currently have Dzeko with the money and 1 FT set aside to upgrade to Aguero this week. Now Valencia is injured I have 2 options:

A) Dzeko to Aguero (c) and play McClean

or

B) Valencia to Mata with Ba (c)

The Europa League suddenly looks more enticing than the Champions League. I attribute it to the fact that it's got a larger number of teams. .Anyways 3rd's spot in the UCL group stage appears to be an equally good option now.
