The Dugout Discussion returns for an evening shift at the Emirates, as fourth-placed Arsenal take on sixth-placed Newcastle United in the penultimate fixture of Gameweek 28. If Newcastle have serious Champions League ambitions, then a good result tonight is a must. That sets us up for a potentially entertaining evening, with Arsenal currently enjoying a great spell of form. The team news from the capital is in, and the line-ups are as follows…

Arsenal XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Rosicky, Song, Arteta, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, van Persie.

Newcastle XI: Krul, Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini, Santon, Obertan, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Tiote, Gutierrez, Ba.

Arsene Wenger makes one change from the side that unsuccessfully attempted to over-haul Milan mid-week, with Mikel Arteta coming in for Gervinho. Intriguingly, that means another start for Alex Oxlade Chamberlain with Theo Walcott operating on the opposite flank.

Despite promising an attacking mentality tonight, Alan Pardew has reverted to a 4-5-1 formation, with Papiss Cisse making way for Gabriel Obertan. There’s also a forced change with Ryan Taylor missing out with the calf strain. In comes Hatem Ben Arfa.

The Dugout Discussion chatroom can be accessed right here.

i'm not sure manani, as i said just give them a quick call and explain whats happening and they will tell you what you have done wrong and they will also tell you a way to verify your age. normally by agreeing to their tems of agreement that in itself is good enough as they will have a disclaimer in there somewhere to cover themselves.

Next week I've gone mad and made five transfers in the hope of freshening up the side and with more than one eye on the run-in...
    Lindegaard out, Schwarzer in
    Taiwo out, Vermaelen in
    Silva out, Sigurdsson in
    Beausejour out, Miyachi in
    Aguero out, Rooney in

So the team for this weekend is:
    Schwarzer
    Vermaelen, Evans, Baines, R.Taylor
    Sigurdsson, Bale, Dempsey
    Rooney (c), Van Persie, Pogrebnyak
    subs: Mignolet, Scholes, Miyachi, Cahill

    Any opinions welcome.

I play in a head-to-head league so I think I might still sneak it looking at my opponents weaknesses but...I've thought that before this season!
I might bin Scholes but, with the United fixtures and for the price, I don't think he's a bad shout. Any alternatives? James Morrison? (got 2.3m in the bank by the way)!

Yup his home form is good, but it's very difficult to justify rotating a £9.4m midfielder. Inevitably your fifth mid who comes in is cack. And if you play him away you've basically written off a midfield slot

Have Newcastle really been that much more solid with Tiote anyway? I know he's highly rated but I have my doubts he's made them as solid as people are making out. OK they got torn to bits today by a good team, but they also lost a 2-goal lead against Wolves...

Nah. Just going on Newcastle not exactly being watertight in the 3 games since Tiote's returned. Conceded 5 in 3 games, 1 easy, 1 medium, 1 hard, and they could have conceded a fair number more...

Going by stats and stats alone, you'd have to bench Moses this week. I reckon he might do something though.

Plus Spurs currently have a blank GW34, so if you 3 Spurs you are relying on your bench.
