With Robin Van Persie a constant in most Fantasy squads and Wayne Rooney’s recent form lifting him to near essential status, there appears to be just a single slot up for grabs in our Fantasy forward lines. With this in mind, our two-part members article plunders our own ICT Index scores and Opta statistics for the previous six Gameweeks to assess form, identifying would-be targets in the mid-range and budget price brackets.

We start today, analysing those players open to Fantasy managers with cash to spare: forwards available in the 7.0-9.5 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) price range.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Who would have thought that Chelsea would be the last English team left in Europe after their tumultuous season?

          totally agree

He looks tired, and I don't think that injury has helped.

Glad I sold him this week. Probably held him for 2 weeks 2 long out of sentimentality of owning him since GW1.

agreed but I think we're overly harsh on the lad, who has been injured most of the season ands was playing his 2nd or 3rd European game.

The guy will come good, it's just whether we can afford to give him the time.

For me, the turning point in Citys season was when Chelsea came back to beat them at the bridge. I kinda got that feeling at the time. They looked like they would stroll the league until that night imo. I think it was a hugely significant night in the Pl title race. Its pretty much all been downhill since then.
