The Dugout Discussion opens today for two Premier League games involving some of it’s most enjoyable teams to watch. Third-place chasing Spurs take on the exciting Swansea City after Newcastle host Liverpool, with the former fighting for European football.

The team news from the game at The Sports Direct Arena is in, and the sides line-up as follows…

Newcastle XI: Krul, Simpson, Williamson, Perch, Gutierrez, Guthrie, Tiote, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Cisse, Ba.

Liverpool XI: Reina, Flanagan, Carragher, Skrtel, Jose Enrique, Shelvey, Spearing, Gerrard, Suarez, Carroll, Bellamy.

Alan Pardew is without the injured Fabricio Coloccini, which partners James Perch with Mike Williamson in central defence and puts Jonas Gutierrez in the left-back berth. It’s the same attacking mentality that served them so well at West Brom.

Liverpool also name an attacking side, knowing that a win here is essential if they want to overhaul the Magpies. Andy Carroll returns to his former stomping ground and starts alongside Luis Suarez.

    Drinky should be tight for 3rd.
    Arsenal have harder fixtures but 4 at home. In the balance

    I wish both these teams well. They've played the game the right way all season and given us all a lot of entertainment.

        i'm gettin rid of ba.. already got 9 players for gw 34 so gettin adebayor as i can get 11 on with the next 2 transfers.. gw 34 put me off doin that transfer last week.. wish we found out a week later bout GW 34 🙂

        Opposition has 43 points Vs my 40. I'm chasing 119 point gap. He has no players playing tomorrow whilst i have Rooney (C) Valencia and Jevans. Any chance of cutting that gap down to 90?
