The man’s a machine. Nine goals in eight games have lifted Papiss Cisse to the verge of essential status in Fantasy terms, as those who are yet to jump on board the bandwagon are left fumbling and fretting on the curb side, wondering if they’ve left it too late to buy a ticket.

Today’s brace at the Liberty cut open on of the most heralded defences in the league – Swansea had conceded just 12 goals at home this season. That had no bearing on Cisse, who went about his job of condemning Brendan Rodgers’ side to their third straight defeat with ruthless precision.

His first was a scalpel of a finish to Michel Vorm’s far post, the Dutchman’s despairing drive and fingertips unable to stop Cisse’s drive finding the corner. The second was simply sublime – an improbable angled chip over Vorm’s hapless gaze after Yohan Cabaye’s through-ball had appeared to have caught under Cisse’s feet. He shuffled, rearranged and demonstrated exquisite balance to execute one of the smartest finishes of the season. A bit special, as Alan Pardew will doubtless say.

Those who jumped on Cisse off the back of his consecutive two-goal hauls at West Brom and against Liverpool will be glowing. That leaves the rest of us pondering just how long we can afford to ignore the seemingly unstoppable form of the Senegal striker. Already, over 4,000 Fantasy managers have transferred Cisse in this afternoon – his price has jumped 0.6 in two Gameweeks but we can only expect that to keep climbing.

Gameweek 33 shifts struggling Bolton into Cisse’s sights – a chilling thought. There’s a sniff of a chance that Pardew will be tempted to rotate his resources for that game but surely Cisse’s momentum is undeniable, surely he’ll be given the opportunity to cut the Trotters open?

After that, Cisse and Newcastle face a blank but that’s followed by another temping home encounter with Stoke, with a double fixture in Gamweek 36 that has the Magpies face trips to Wigan and Chelsea.

The opponents hardly matter. Right now, you can throw out the form book and almost disregard fixtures. Alan Pardew has his side playing to their strengths. Resolute in defence with Hatem Ben Arfa providing a drive and spark from midfield, whilst up front Cisse is the executioner supreme. How can we resist?

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

OK. I cool down a bit and calmly look at my team for Gw 33.

Stick to the plan or Go with the flow?
A: Suarez > Aguero ... WBA, nor, wol and make me 11 on Gw34
    B: Suarez > Cisse ... explanation required?

Gw33 Team (CAPS will play in Gw34)

    VORM
VERMAELEN - EVANS - Ekotto or Simpson
    VALENCIA - SIGGY - WALCOTT - Bale
    RVP - ROONEY - ???
Sub: Schwarzer, SESS., ??? , Kelly

Get Cisse. Then get a gw34 player at the end of gw33.
Fielding 10 players for gw 34 will be fine.

Does anyone have OCD regarding the layout of their team? For instance, BAE and Baines have to be left back. However, I'm obsessed with getting players from the same team in parallel. So at the moment I have JEvans, Valencia and Rooney all making a neat, red tower. BAE is at right back because I wanted him to be in line with Bale.

I'm so happy. I'm a normal human being. In pre season I'll do a guide as to buying players on the transfer page. Basically, if you play all your mids for instance then they are set in stone if that makes sense. If you play less than 5 you can alter what order they go in.

            Hard to explain!

Sooooooo I saved two free transfers with the intention of changing my 4 benched DGW players in GW34 into 7 DGW players by GW36.

However the pull of Suarez > Cisse is probably the strongest I've felt this season. Should I use one of my frees tonight? This guy is seemingly impossible to ignore.

I'll still play XI in GW34 but it may have to be 6 DGW players for GW36 (or more with a hit). What are others doing?

      Hard to top it really.

Baines for Kompany is the only move I'd make, but even then I'd leave that until GW36.

Actually, Migs to Krul or Friedel gives you a DGW36 keeper as you can play Vorm in GW34. That's what I'd do next if it was my team.

ok guys dont do many of these, think probably because of the derision and πŸ˜† at some of my decisons earlier in the season, appologies if its too long but any thorts on these beauties would be much appreciated

    2 free transfers

    gw 33 dempsey > walcott

    gw 34 bale > sess

gives me this for problem week 34

    mingolet
    jevans verm kompany
siggy tony v sess mcclean walcott
    rooney rvp

    gw 35 walcott > vdv
    mcclean > ben arfa

    no double players for 35

    gw 36 rooney > ade
    kompany > baines
    sess > bale

    8 pt hit to get

    krull
    skrtel vermaelan baines
    tony v valencia bale vdv
    cisse rvp adebayor

set my heart on both walcott and sess for 34 hence me using the free transfer route to gettin week 34's side

unfortunate to sell bale and then take the hit to get him back but cant think of any one else who does it for me for the double, chelsea a rest/rotation risk, bolton er dont think so, goals from stoke not really, liverpool jus not very good, fulham away all you really need to say, which leaves toon everton and spurs all covered πŸ™‚ or πŸ™

Do Dempsey to Walcott but keep Bale and bench him in GW34 as you will want him in GW36.

VDV scares me for the DGW because he is so liable to limp off 15 mins into the first game with hamstring problems and then not reappear again for the rest of the GW.

McClean will be OK for you in GW34.

Lots of people, myself included, are thinking of getting Dempsey back for GW35 so that's something you might want to consider. Or maybe Mata instead of VdV as Chelsea have good fixtures in the DGW and many here think he's least likely to be rotated.

I agree with you about leaving GW35 doublers alone.

Any decent player's eyes should light up right now at the mere thought of playing Wolves.

Agree on Chelsea but just giving you an option.

I'd love VdV for myself if it wasn't for his very real injury history. It could pay off but his track record suggests his hammy is going to give way again before the end of the season.

And the chances are it will happen in a DGW when it can do the most damage to VdV owners!

Seriously, just keep Bale and avoid the 8 point hit though.

Incidentally, if Chelsea are such a rotation risk for you then why do you have Cahill?
