The man’s a machine. Nine goals in eight games have lifted Papiss Cisse to the verge of essential status in Fantasy terms, as those who are yet to jump on board the bandwagon are left fumbling and fretting on the curb side, wondering if they’ve left it too late to buy a ticket.

Today’s brace at the Liberty cut open on of the most heralded defences in the league – Swansea had conceded just 12 goals at home this season. That had no bearing on Cisse, who went about his job of condemning Brendan Rodgers’ side to their third straight defeat with ruthless precision.

His first was a scalpel of a finish to Michel Vorm’s far post, the Dutchman’s despairing drive and fingertips unable to stop Cisse’s drive finding the corner. The second was simply sublime – an improbable angled chip over Vorm’s hapless gaze after Yohan Cabaye’s through-ball had appeared to have caught under Cisse’s feet. He shuffled, rearranged and demonstrated exquisite balance to execute one of the smartest finishes of the season. A bit special, as Alan Pardew will doubtless say.

Those who jumped on Cisse off the back of his consecutive two-goal hauls at West Brom and against Liverpool will be glowing. That leaves the rest of us pondering just how long we can afford to ignore the seemingly unstoppable form of the Senegal striker. Already, over 4,000 Fantasy managers have transferred Cisse in this afternoon – his price has jumped 0.6 in two Gameweeks but we can only expect that to keep climbing.

Gameweek 33 shifts struggling Bolton into Cisse’s sights – a chilling thought. There’s a sniff of a chance that Pardew will be tempted to rotate his resources for that game but surely Cisse’s momentum is undeniable, surely he’ll be given the opportunity to cut the Trotters open?

After that, Cisse and Newcastle face a blank but that’s followed by another temping home encounter with Stoke, with a double fixture in Gamweek 36 that has the Magpies face trips to Wigan and Chelsea.

The opponents hardly matter. Right now, you can throw out the form book and almost disregard fixtures. Alan Pardew has his side playing to their strengths. Resolute in defence with Hatem Ben Arfa providing a drive and spark from midfield, whilst up front Cisse is the executioner supreme. How can we resist?

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I was 18th in a Top 1000 league before today. Not one team above me had Cisse. I didn't think he was the greatest of shouts but looks like we were all wrong!

Is there anyone else on here who hasn't planned their GW36 team yet? All I know is I will have 11 GW34 with a bench of players I want for the double and Dempsey back GW35. Will decide about the rest when it gets to GW35 or 36.

2 main rivals have both spookily captained Demps for this GW, surely this a good thing for me who has it on Rooney?

secondly, really feeling the need to change GK - what's the best move:

Schwarzer or Mignolet out for Cech Bogdan or Given?
Was planning Cahill for the DGW but really want some security over someone who will play each game.

sadly, this is only the beginning of my troubles....

finally.... i have Ba. Trying to look on the brightside in that subbing off early today will mean a definite start against BOL where he will be playing as part of a front 2. no point transferring for Cisse 1 week before a blank?

Just noticed my main rival is after completely blocking me off! He is 30 points ahead, thought I might have gained some points this week with Rooney (c), Valencia & Siggy as differentials.

He goes and brings in Rooney(c), Valencia & Siggy! My only differentials now are Verm & Baines! The other difference is I have Crouch, he has Suarez..

Any ideas on how to catch him now? I was confident when I had Rooney as a differential, not now!

Not an ideal player to have admittedly, but Santon could be played in the DGW now if he seems to cement a place in the side again. Wigan away isn't the worst game and then I'd take anything from the Chelsea game as a bonus.

wait and see what happens when Colo gets back, does Perch drop out, or does he go to lb with Santon dropping out?

Oh absolutely, not saying Santon is a definite at all, will gladly wait and see. He just isn't as essential to move out as he was before the teams were announced today. I don't think anyone has a true idea of how long Colo will be out either. Perch has done well (pathetic dive aside) since coming in too so I'm sure Santon would be first to go if Colo did come back. Guthrie's absence helps though as Jonas moved up field from makeshift LB.

Argh. I think Ive missed the Cisse train, cant bring him in now with GW34 blank hovering. Think I might have to do Dempsey -> Sess and Kelly -> McAuley with my 2 FTs this week to try and get a team out.

My other option is to ditch Suarez (which I will do before GW34). But in 33 he has Blackburn, and all the options to replace him (Odem, Bendtner are the 2 Im looking at) have nasty fixtures. So do I do the Dempsey move? I dunno.

Sounds like a decent option for you. I may be doing Suarez to Odem myself in 34, unless I fancy a punt on Aguero in 33.

Not got the cash to get Aguero in. I think Id be benching Sunderland players at Everton, so seems silly to bring them in this week. Maybe I should just make the defensive transfer, let one roll, then do 2 next week. Think I've got enough cash to absorb a Sess price rise.

Yep thats the way I looked at it. I'm benching McClean for that barring injuries so wouldn't bring Sess in before then either. Having said that, he wouldn't be a bad option if you did.

Ba > Cisse - should I pull the trigger?

Cisse bang in form and 2 of 3 rivals have him,
Ba will be fresh for Bolton and restored to central role, due a goal too!

Holy hell. Nice start the the GW.

On topic, I think that getting Dempsey out it the best option due to his hard DGW. His fixtures are CHE, blank, WIG liv, eve, SUN. There is only one good fixture in this group.
I'd do Dempsey to Walcott as he has nice fixtures and no blank.
Yes Cisse is a good alternative for GW35.

                1) Dempsey's DGW is the Cheese and ham inside the sandwich with WIG(H) before and SUN(H) after the DGW,.

                2) I would have VDV but I don't think he'll start both, and even if he does he'll only last 60-70 minutes with them hamstrings.

Skrtel, Dempsey and Ba -> Vermaelen, Walcott and Cisse (4 point hit). Worth it? I do realise that Cisse has a blank in GW 34, but I'll still have 10 players for that GW, plus I think that his fixtures in GW 33, 35 and double in 36 justifies his 0 in GW 34.

ok.... quick question... how many players will you have for GW34?

i currently have 9 but this includes Surman at home to City.

            do i:

            a) Keep Ba for one last hurrah, save transfer
            b) get Given in for Schwarzer - 2 good home fixtures in GW35 and a nailed on starter - my other GK is Migs who i am worried about re rotation
            c) Get Cisse in of for Ba
