Just the one Premier League to concentrate on this evening, as Blackburn look to battle for points against a Liverpool side desperately looking for a change of fortunes ahead of their FA Cup semi-final with Everton. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to welcome your real-time chatter as the game unfolds.

The team news from Ewood is interesting and somewhat predictable. While Steve Kean tinkers by bringing in Mauro Formica and Marcus Olsson for Morten Gamst-Pedersen and Jason Lowe, his opposite number has a different agenda with the weekend cup tie in mind. Kenny Dalglish rests Steven Gerrard from his squad, whilst Luis Suarez is shifted to the bench, allowing Andy Carroll and Craig Bellamy to start up front. Glen Johnson returns to the side, with a left-back role looking likely as Jose Enrique also makes way. He sits alongside Jamie Carragher and Dan Agger as Sebastian Coates starts alongside Martin Skrtel.

Follow the action on your screens with one eye on our Dugout Discussion chat via this link.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Was expecting some clever headline describing the ups and downs of last nights game. Instead I'm greeted with "Late Carroll goal sinks Blackburn". Hmmm that tells the story...

Well I dont know whether things would have panned out the same if the first penalty had gone in. I just wish I didnt have to see KK grinning after the match. That was an undesirable outcome

I've got one free transfer, want to bring in Turner, but for who: Shotton or Enrique? Was Shotton, but then Liverpool reminded me what a shambles they are...

Morning Chaps, I've asked this a couple of times already this week but without much/any response, so if anyone's feeling helpful, please add your thoughts.

Got myself 10 outfield players for GW34 but no GK. Have 1FT, which I'd have loved to have rolled, but had to use my other FT sorting out Balotelli. Anyways, I'm digressing - so, should I:-

    A) change Lindy to Migs and then worry about how many hits (if any) to take prior to the doubles; likely outcome 6 points in GW34, but quite possibly 2

    B) change Lindy to Given to gain the extra game in GW35, bearing on mind his GW34 game is against MU, but that said from the 3 games he'll play between GW34/35 he's likely to score minimum of 6 points, but possibly up to 10.

    C) leave as is, go in to GW34 with 10 and have an additional FT for the DGWs.

Many thanks if you've read all that, and further thanks for anyone proffering their thoughts on it.

    Good Day!

      B imo.

C will only save you four points not taking a hit later,
A will prob get you 6/7pts max and poss only 1/2.
B should get more than 4pts with higher potential

I'd rather double on TOT attack than defence. BAE as the preferred defender too, so Friedel to go and Rooney to Adebayor to make way. Cech could be a good shout as his replacement. Unlikely to be rotated.

Got a question for you all.

I'm bringing in Turner for GW34, and also considering taking a 4-point hit to bring in Sessegnon for Lampard. Worth it?

Sess has Bolton and Wolves coming up, whereas Lampard has the double GW36.

So I can field 10 next week:

    Vermaelen Caulker Turner Evans
    Siggy Valencia McClean
    Rooney RvP

Have 1 freebie and not sure whether I should use. Crazy, right? Could bring in Walcott, but that would probably be only for one week, so kinda waste of 2 transfers really.

To fellow RVP(c) and Walcott owners perhaps the signs look promising, in Terry O Connors interview, we will apprach this game like any other and focus on our opponents weakness's. Then when asked what were Arsenals weakness's he replied ' none '. Also rumours of unrest in the dressing room. If Arsenal score early it could get ugly for wolves.

gw 36 could be low scoring and if after it manu are home and dry they will lose motivation and my bring in younger players for experience.
Last 2 fixtures also slightly favour RVP imo

With Gibbs rested tonight and Santos in,do Arsenal-watchers reckon Santos has a chance of keeping his place, or will Gibbs come back in when he's had a breather?

Gibbs out through fatigue, steer clear of both I reckon.

I would not normally touch santos with a stick, but it'd be a nice differential over the Verm masses (of whom I will probably shorty be one of) and would free up cash for getting Baines in for gw36

Still, I suspect you're right: steer clear of both
