It’s back on. Sergio Aguero’s finishing and the toil and creativity of Carlos Tevez come to the fore as City rout the Baggies, closing the gap on United thanks to Wigan’s shock 1-0 win at the DW Stadium. Gameweek 33 closed with a night of intrigue and our members can now digest our selection of the key statistics from all ten matches, along with our punt on where the Fantasy Premier League bonus points will be heading…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

A 65 point lead in my mini league enough to win or should I take some gambles??

Nope I'd be playing it fairly safe. I'm 2nd in my mini-league and the leader is wisely copying my big moves to cancel me out (Evans, Valencia, Rooney, Cisse....)

Making him very hard to catch. The only benefit I have is that he cant copy my transfers until the following week so I have to hope for a bumper score that week

One could argue If We go out of the cup...we have more to play for than a lot of top 10 clubs...to finish above Liverpool!

    I need some help please.........

    Current team
    Schwarzer – Vorm
    Evans – Macauley – WIlko – Skrtel – Simpson
    Walcott – Bale – Valencia – McClean – Sess
    RVVP – Rooney – Cisse

9 players this GW (all at home)…..changing
    Walcott > Dempsey
Wilko > Cahill (Ivanovich if available) and
Rooney > Ade to give 7 DGW players in GW36 but I’d have 3.3 left over. Are there better transfers to do?

I can see Ivan getting his ban increased to 4 games after appeal. He socked the guy.

Team looks good and transfers look ok. I'd keep my eye on Chelsea as they arent great for CS potential this year and Cahill could be replaced by Luiz on any given GW with Bos coming into the side as well.

So gutted with my results these last two GWs!

Them being so close really messed me up as I couldnt quite get online (Wake up by 11:30) to swap Skrtel n Simpson, captain RVP instead of Rooney and I was bringing Aguero in, which I done anyway straight after the game had finished updating so missed him destroy WBA but have him for Norwich 🙁

Hopefully GW34 works out a lot better for me!

Wigan putting some nice performances together. Arsenal really looked disinterested last night once 2-0 up vs useless Wolves.

Sess a better bet in place of Bale rather than Walcott?(I own Rvp/Mclean) Especially looking at gw 34-36...

Personally I'd save it, you've an above average team for this GW and so banking the FT would also put you in a strong position for the doubles,

I expect to see peoples rankings vastly improve over the next few weeks as other players won't have planned for the blanks this GW or the DGW's

ENR - Fratboy has it in the bag, I needed QPR and Arsenal to concede really, those two cleansheets were big blows. I don't mind losing that one, his team was excellent to be fair. Plus I'm now (pre-BAPs) in the top 5k for the first time 😀

    Afternoon all

Was all set to have a bit of a moan about my poor performance this year until I realised that I'm only 12 points off being in the top 10k and not much more than that again off the top 5k. It's congested isn't it - my chief opponent in the mini-league has only one point more but is 800 places higher. Gosh.

So, what about them United chokers, eh? I guess it's Rooney > Aguero this week. Hopefully he'll do nowt at Narch and the Pig will score a hattrick.

I'm really hoping for some clarity in team and player form over this weekend as I still can't make up my mind what to do for the DGW and beyond. Flog Rooney & Valencia or keep? Get Baines and/or Pienaar. What about that Spurs defence? What about Huth? Two goals in two goals and juicy fixtures coming up? Keep Cahill or swap for someone 100% guaranteed to start? Questions, questions.

          nice joke there.

it really depends if there are any in form striker at that period.
roon is a big game player IMO, so the big games e.g. city game, is where he will get double figure.

    Mignolet
    Caulker Vermaelen Kompany Evans (Kelly)
    Sigurdsson Walcott Valencia (Bale) (Morrison)
    Rvp Rooney (Cisse)

Bring in an 11th player for a ft or save it for a a dgw'er in gw 36? Have 0.9m in the bank.

    Vorm
    Caulker Kompany Evans

    Rvp Rooney

Should I use my one free transfer(Simpson -> Turner) and get to field 11 players this gameweek, or should I save it for the doubles?

What would you do with this team? 1FT, 0.9m in the bank:

    Mignolet
    Caulker, Evans, Vermaelen
    Siggi, Valencia, Walcott
    Rooney(vc), RVP(c)

    Subs: Vorm

Not Playing: Cahill, Williamson, Dempsey, Bale, PCisse

    Perhaps Cahill/Bale out? Sessegnon/Kompany/McCauley in?

    Sagna Caulker Jevans
    Walcott McClean Valencia
    Rooney RVP Graham..

Probably standard..Last chance for Graham in my team..If he can't score against Blackburn @Home-then he Never will.

Other option is Caulker. Will mean doubling up on Vorm/caulker like earlier in the season.

Swans are shipping goals though. At least they have Wolv in gw 36.

2 FT must be used to get to 10 players for gw 34.(Kelly/Bale-->Walcott/4.2m def)

Just a bad day at the office for him really.

United looked like they went into last night's game believing that the title was won and all they had to do was show up and the 3 points would be theirs.

That was very un-United like and Sir Alex will make sure that doesn't happen again this season.

Villa fans are already bracing themselves for the inevitable backlash this weekend.

and fergie wasn't even mad after he saw those backheels in stoppage time.
usually he is real mad at those, even if we are winning.

maybe he just think that title is in our hand already.
and after all, wigan always help united to win the title in some way 🙂

The first one - losing 2 rotation risks for 2 nailed on starters with good fixtures. Sess would be nice, but Dempsey next week is (c) material, and McClean may still outscore Sess.
